Enjoy our beautiful 2 bedroom/den/2 bath top floor end unit condo in prestigious Naples Lakes. Well appointed Tommy Bahama influenced furnishings make this a great place to view spectacular sunsets and wildlife. The master suite has a king bed & 2 chairs with a TV and entrance to the lanai. The master bath has two sinks. It also has 2 closets, one walk in. The living room is spacious and open to the lanai with views of Lake Barrington, our 16th hole and abundant wildlife; or just watch TV or a DVD movie. There's also a Bose radio and CD player for your listening pleasure. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and its own bath/shower combo. For increased privacy this area can be closed off at the hallway by a pocket door. The inviting den has a pullout couch (queen) and a computer desk. The den can be made private by closing the curtains on either side of the entrance. The living room and master suite have distinctive ceiling paddle fans while the second bedroom and den have white ceiling fans. There is a kitchen eat in area where the morning sun will great you. The kitchen has solid wood cabinetry and corian sinks and counter tops. If you prefer to grill there's a George Forman electric grill on the lanai. Parking is no problem as our unit has the largest 2 car garage in the complex. There's also a storage alcove for your beach items and/or bicycles. Just hit the remote and all is safely enclosed.
Lake Barrington has its own neighborhood heated pool and spa. There are gas grills and eating area adjacent to the pool and rest rooms. There's always a party or get together happening 'in season'. You also have access to the main pool and spa at the award winning club house. You can also have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the newly enlarged cabana grill while watching the NFL package on Directv.
With your transfer fee you can enjoy golf on our Arnold Palmer 18 hole golf course. Hit the complete practice range and you're ready to go. The Chelsea system allows for equitable tee times for all. Game need fixing? Try our 2 teaching pros. How about tennis on one of our 10 Har-Tru courts? Our tennis pro is a renowned instructor and a treat to meet. If fitness is your thing we've got it. We have 2 instructors who hold group classes or can individualize to your needs. As for food, Chef Dan LaValle is famous for his creations.
Naples Lakes hosts otters, bald eagles, deer, hawks, herons of all sizes, snowy egrets, wood storks and an assortment of other wildlife. From your lanai you'll witness most if not all animal comings and goings. You'll often see golfers taking photos from their carts; recommended, but don't slow up play. Residents fishing is permitted in the Lake. Catch and release only.
Want to go to the beach? Naples has the finest in Florida and they're only 12 minutes away. How about dining on 5th Avenue or 'Old Town' (3rd Street)? Marco Island is 15 minutes away. Rent a boat and get a dolphin escort. Boats are readily available on Marco or Naples. A half day rental can take you to both cities on the intracoastal waterway while allowing for a stop on Keewaydin Island for swimming and shelling or just a walk on a pristine gulf beach. Just you and the birds.

Year Purchased: 2003
About the owner: I retired in 2003. While visiting Marco Is. in July of '03 I decided to look at Naples Lakes. I had played the course many times when it was being developed by Toll Brothers. They were allowing day play till they were built out. It was my favorite course in Naples. In one day we decided to buy our condo. We would split time between our home on the Barnegat Bay in NJ and here. After one winter we sold our northern home as we couldn't get enough of Naples Lakes.
Why the Owner Chose Naples Lakes:
We had looked to buy on the east coast of Florida between Stuart and Vero Beach in 1999. However something was missing. Too crowded? Too hectic? When we finally looked at the town of Naples, the gulf, and, of course, Naples Lakes C.C. the decision was easy.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We looked at many properties that one day in July. But when we reached the top floor of 'building 6' and viewed Lake Barrington, we were hooked. We spent an entire winter golfing, swimming, boating etc. but at days end we most enjoyed our lanai and the spectacular sunsets. Watching the deer parade through the woods. The otters and bald eagles vying for the fish. The night sounds of Great Blue herons croaking to each other. I just couldn't wait till the next morning. We still live in Naples Lakes in a single family home and the feeling has not changed.
