When I was looking for a place in Whistler all I found was an overpriced cabin stuck next to an overpriced cabin. This place, a short drive away from Whistler takes you back to "real" Canada and overlooks the beautiful Lilloeet Lake. It was stunning and secluded and I only wish I was there in the summer - who knows, maybe I will be soon. The cabin has everything you need for a family, or romantic couple looking for tranquility and the Whistler lifestyle Skiing and Poutine without the commercialism. We got great steaks, fish and seafood and BBQ'd every night. Relaxing in the evening in front of the log fire it was sensational. Enjoy, but make sure you have a car!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Hi Barry, We're really happy you enjoyed your stay! Thanks very much for the review. It's exactly what we try to express to our inquiring guests... Cheers, Scott.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Scott was very welcoming and generous. We were truley happy with the entire experience. The pictures do not do the view justice; it was incredible. The cabin is a short drive to Pemberton for groceries, but we barely left because it was such a nice place. We went snow shoeing at Joffre Lakes park which was only a 20 minute drive, and it was one of the prettiest places we have been in BC. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with gorgeous surroundings.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Hi Wes, thanks very much for your review. Love to hear that you enjoyed your stay! Cheers, Scott.

I spent a weekend at this beautiful cabin with my fiance and 2-month-old baby. It's exactly what we needed - the perfect getaway surrounded by trees and only the sound of the nearby creek. The owners are very nice and easy going and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable by chopping wood for us the day before we arrived. (Thank you!) I would highly recommend this place. It's quiet, cosy, clean, and has all amenities for a home-cooked meal and comfort. We look forward to staying there again! T., S., & baby M.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks Teddy! I'm happy you enjoyed your stay and look forward to having you back any time. Cheers, Scott.
