We selected this house because we wanted high end accommodation in Creekside with easy ski-in/ski-out access where our group of 10 could spread out an enjoy a ski week at Whistler. We were highly satisfied with our choice. We highly recommend this property if you have a group and want a more intimate and enjoyable setting then several hotel rooms or a condo! In our view Creekside is an ideal location at Whistler. Away from the crowds, easy access to the advanced terrain on Whistler and if desired a short car/taxi/bus ride away from the hustle and bustle of the village for dinner or entertainment. The ski-in/out location was great. A short 50m flat walk and you are on the run! The house itself is extremely well appointed. The kitchen is fully stocked - down to cookware, utensils, spices and kitchen basics, so don't worry about any of that. We were able to enjoy a hearty family breakfast prior to skiing each day. Also, we had two dinners in - your choice bbq or cook in the gourmet kitchen and then serve on the wonderful wood table with place settings, decor, candle and dim lights. After skiing you can enjoy a hot tub or a cocktail on the deck and take in the exceptional view, it's even better doing these knowing that most others are lugging skis to their cars or sitting in traffic. Downstairs is a separate living space ideal for a bit of privacy for a second family or teenagers. The bonus here is that the owners are extremely well organized and thoughtful! One truly feels as if you are stepping into your own mountain home. The ski room is the best I have ever seen and provides storage for all gear, clothing, etc plus room for changing in the morning and evening and allowing everything to dry. The kitchen is also well organized and stocked. If you want to cook as we did just plan on doing "normal" grocery shopping for your main food, you can trust everything else you might need will be available. Sandra is also a pleasure to work with and is very responsive and organized with all paperwork. We would definitely return!

We had an absolutely awesome stay this season. If you are visiting Whistler to ski you will need access to the lift network and a place to rest and refuel. The great thing about the Creekside location is that all of the Whistler Village après ski attractions are a short taxi ride away, but when you need to relax, read a book or soak in the hot tub you have that option as well. The other great feature about the Creekside location is that the only thing you hear outside the house is the noise from the creek. The environment is extremely quiet and no noise from the highway or the village reaches this location. Because the house is at the ski hill a car is optional. The Creekside Village while smaller than the main Whistler Village has all of the basics covered. The quality of the house and its furnishings are impressive and very well cared for. It is also clear that the house was designed by a skier as the boot and ski room are perfectly arranged to minimize the 60 second walk from the front door to the ski slope. The kitchen and family room are arranged so that our group was able to relax and cook our meals together while enjoying a beer and sitting by the fire. You can even see Whistler Peak from the dining room to assess how much new snow has fallen The house can accommodate 10 friends or family members with plenty of space and bathroom facilities for everyone.

This home is wonderful, beautiful views, great beds, quiet and an amazing interior. Most important to me is easy access to the skiing... no need to drive, just ski down the hill to the lift. You will surely enjoy your stay here.

This West Coast style home had many luxurious comforts and special features, creating a very welcoming, relaxing environment.... feather comforters and pillows on very comfortable beds, soaker tubs, large fireplace built from local stone situated in the open plan living dining area, hot tub with magnificent views just steps from the side door, a modern kitchen for the most serious of foodies. The floor to ceiling windows enhanced the effect of being one with the snow-covered trees and mountains. A wonderful bonus was convenience of the few steps needed to be on the ski hill ,with a short ski down to the Gondola waiting to transport us up to incredible ski terrain. The house was very clean and had all the amenities and the owners were most accommodating with information. They sincerely wanted us to have a memorable holiday...and we did!

Our stay was everything we hoped it would be and more. The location was, without question, one of the hidden gems of Whistler with Ski-In/Ski-Out almost to the doorstep. We really liked the Creekside location which provided for the charm of Whistler's origins without the noise and commercialism of the Whistler town centre. It is conveniently located to stores within an easy walk. We rarely needed to use our car except for trips to the town centre. Our accommodations were terrific. We found them to be exceptionally clean, comfortable and organized with a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook up a storm. A great place to socialize in the open space with lots of areas for quiet times. Sitting in the hot tub at the end of the day watching the skiers take their last run was also a nice treat. Of course, the hot tub on a snowy evening under the stars was a great experience. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The fireplace and living space was a charming area to kick back, read a book or watch a movie. All in all, it was a great time at Whistler! We'll be back.

                  Owner info

                  Year Purchased: 1997

About the owner: Our names are Scott and Sandra. Our children are grown but we have two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Jayde and Jessica, both of whom love the time they spend at Whistler. Scott and I are physically active people. At Whistler we enjoy downhill skiing, cross country skiing, hiking, road cycling, swimming, etc. We have owned property in Whistler for almost 30 years and still love to ski but nowadays we also enjoy travelling for part of the winter in our Airstream trailer.

                  Why the Owner Chose Snowridge:
Snowridge is, in our view, simply the finest location at Whistler. Our house is right on Whistler Creek where you can actually hear the sounds of water rushing by. For skiers, nothing can surpass the fact you walk over a small bridge and are on the famous Dave Murray Downhill run. At the end of your day you ski right to the bridge. No long walks in ski boots carrying skis and poles. At Creekside you can step outside to watch stars at night or wander off for a walk in freshly fallen snow. Everything one needs is within walking distance while the main village with all its hustle and bustle is only 4 kilometres away and can easily be accessed by private vehicle, bus, taxi or by walking on the magnificent valley trail.

The Unique Benefits at this House:
We put a lot of time and heart into building this home. The large fir posts used throughout are part of the structural design. The wood was all reclaimed and refinished. You can see how truly beautiful it is. The dining table was made from leftover pieces of this reclaimed wood as were the stairs going up to the bedrooms. The rock fireplace mantle was made from wood taken from an old farm building and if you look closely you can see the circular saw marks made from the cutting tools used about 100 years ago. The open concept plan with floor to ceiling windows provide extraordinary mountain views from every angle.
