My family and I have stayed in this house twice, each time with other families, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay each time. The property was exactly as described, very clean, well maintained, and well decorated. There was plenty of seating to accommodate our large group and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. Our kids really enjoyed the sledding on the golf course in the winter and the pool at the clubhouse (both <5 minute drive away). My family and I have stayed in many different rental houses, including others in Galena, and this is definitely one of the nicest. This house is a great place for extended families, small groups, couples retreats, etc.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This house was stunning! To be honest, on the website the house doesn't look very large, but when I entered the front door I realized that it was HUGE! The house has great views out of the back and also provides plenty of privacy. My family and I enjoyed many things while we stayed here including: golf, the backyard fire pit, the pool table, downtown Galena and some much needed R&R. This was the perfect get away and I would highly recommend this house to anyone. The house was in great shape when we arrived and you can tell the owners take very good care of it. I would not hesitate at all to go back to this wonderful home or to recommend it to anyone! Overall, Eagle Ridge is a wonderful place to get away to!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful stay in this rental. The home is warm and inviting and worked well with four couples. The large table in the dining area is great for meals and playing games. What a beautiful home with lots of open space inside as well as a great backyard with a fire pit. One of my favorite things is a hanging chair on the back porch! What a great place to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary! Plenty of room for our four generations and something to do for everyone. A comfortable home that is beautifully furnished. Fully equipped kitchen, huge deck with a great view and gas grill. Quiet neighborhood. We liked the walking paths and waterfront activities. Some couples went up as a group on Wine Lovers Weekend in Galena, and this rental property added to our relaxed and fun weekend. Even though there were eight of us, the large house and 5 bedrooms allowed us to enjoy our weekend as separate couples and as a group. The owners have taken very good care of this house, and all of the appointments, including a fresh, big kitchen, dining area, and recreation room added to our experience. The elevated deck in the back of the house faces west, so that it is a great time cooking out, enjoying the sunset, and viewing the Galena Territory. The new fire pit in the back yard is also a great place to relax. It is a quick drive to Eagle Ridge. I would recommend the Sunday brunch at Eagle Ridge Lodge. Excellent for golf, tennis, hiking, biking and shopping. I would have no problem inviting my friends or family to come along on my next trip to Galena.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We have stayed at this lovely home several times. It is great for a large group, whether family or friends - plenty of space for everyone to spread out. It is clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need for any meal. It is within walking distance to the Main Lodge (where we had Sunday brunch) and the golf course. We have rented this house with a few other couples for three years in a row now and we've had a great experience. The place is very clean and beautifully decorated. There are 5 bedrooms so everyone had their own space and the living area/kitchen is all open so even when we were all together, it never felt crowded. The view is fantastic. It's close to skiing, shopping and other tourist attractions. If you go in the winter, there is a great sledding hill and renters get to use the health club and indoor pool. We had a great weekend and hope it's available again for us next year.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our family, from age 50+ to 6 weeks old, enjoyed our stay. The house was large enough for us all to find a place to call "home" and yet plenty of room to congregate around the TV at night and watch the summer olympics together! We went to the pool everyday--several days we went back at night. Even during the hot summer days the screened-in porch was a delightful place to sit and read.
