This is the perfect spot for a single person who wants space, a couple or a family or friends traveling together. The very breezy and large upstairs has two king beds and its own private deck with a view of the mountains - perfect for a relaxing evening or morning coffee. The downstairs was fully remodeled in 2012, with a new kitchen and living room that opens with french doors onto its own private fenced yard with a mature plumaria tree.
This rental is a very easy walk of 5 minutes or less to Kailua Beach or to beautiful Lanikai Beach (another 5 minutes).
The house is in a quiet neighborhood with lovely mountain views. There is Wholefoods in town and great restaurants (less than a mile), Buzz's Grill is just around the corner about 1 -2 blocks away. Shave ice is a little further.
This rental provides you with peace and privacy, and great access to a world-class beach. Residents and visitors alike enjoy the easy-going spirit and incredible beauty of this area. The area is great for beach goers, golfing, snorkeling, kite-surfing, sailing, and boogie-boarding. And of course just a short drive away you will find world-class surfing and diving, and beautiful hikes through the forests of the Koolau Mountains.

                        I stayed for a week at the end of March with my two sons (13 and 20). The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The second floor bedroom was very spacious and we all slept very comfortably. We did not have to turn on the fan or air conditioner at all. Beautiful Kailua and Lanikai beaches just minutes away, not to mention great places to eat. Cinnamon's was a great place for breakfast. If you would like a quiet, relaxing break away from the tourist crowds in Waikiki, this is the place for you! My boys both agreed that this was the best vacation ever, and we definitely would like to stay here again when we visit Oahu. Jonathan and Jenny, thank you so much for your hospitality, and we hope to see you again!

                        First off the photos do not do this rental justice, it was much bigger in person; greatly exceeded our expectations. The location was excellent right next to two beautiful beaches.The place had all of the comforts of home and was perfectly suited for a small family. The neighborhood was quiet throughout the day and night. View from deck of the bedroom was excellent to wake up to each morning. I would highly recommend this place for any family or couple staying near Kailua. My wife and I wish we had more time to relax at this beautiful property, but were visiting family while in town.

                        This location made our stay in Kailua ideal. A nice, quiet neighborhood just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The apartment is perfect for a family of four. The kitchen has everything you need. The living room opens out to a lovely private yard (with resident lizards to the delight of my boys). The bedroom, located upstairs is large and airy - beds are very comfortable. Ample closet space. The entire apartment is tastefully decorated. Jonathan and Jenny are delightful and very helpful. Had coffee for us for the morning after our late arrival. Provided boogie boards and snorkel gear. Answered any question we had. Made us feel very comfortable about being a "family friendly" place, knowing we brought our children with us. I highly recommend this rental to any renter. It is beautiful and beautifully located.

                        I have a 10 month old son that went into the hospital the day we were supposed to arrive at the rental. The owners were very compassionate and flexible with us. They even checked in on my son's status. While we did not actually stay at the rental, the owners were wonderful to our family.

                        My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay here!! We were here for over a week - it was spotless and very well-maintained. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for us, and we loved eating meals/drinking morning coffee either in the backyard seating area, or on the patio with lovely mountain views. Kailua is great, or you can easily zip into Honolulu or around the coast for the beautiful drive to the North Shore. The rental unit is right within easy walking distance of two beaches and a few large parks - also, very near Kailua Town with lots of restaurants and stores. The owners are right next door and super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.... Many thanks!

                      About the owner: We moved to Oahu from the Mainland only recently, and we quickly fell in love with Kailua. The small-town feel of the place, the welcome we received from those we met here, and the lovely beaches all just made us feel so at home.

                      Why the Owner Chose Kailua:
                      We chose this property because it was beautiful, convenient, and private. The neighborhood is safe and we liked the way that the neighborhood is quite green with lots of trees.

                      The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
                      The house is a classic Hawaiian home of the mid 20th century, with large windows and lots of openings out onto the yard. The rental unit has a great feel, too, with a beautiful little deck off of the master bedroom. The deck is the perfect place to have a drink and enjoy the view as the sun goes down over the mountains.
