Welcome to our Camano island vacation home! You are invited to spend some relaxing moments just looking out at the water, doing puzzles or playing chess on the table by the window, playing ping pong in the lower level rec room, walking the short block to the community beach and checking out the sea life and birds, or exploring the island.
Our kitchen is well stocked with stove top, oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, and toaster, as well as utensils (including a wine bottle opener), pots and pans, dishes and glassware, and a picnic basket ready to go with all the necessities!
The dining table can be set with linens and candles or more casual fare, the propane fireplace provides ambiance as well as quick heat for that cozy feeling, and a couple of rocking chairs are just what is needed to snuggle in with a good book.
We have a small television in the living room with dvd and tape player attached, a small collection of dvd's mainly geared to the kids (or the kid in the adult!), wi-fi for your computer, and a cd/radio player.
Master bedroom has a queen sized comfy bed and the master bath has a jetted tub as well as a stall shower. The guest room has two twins (that can be rolled together for a king) and the guest bath has a stall shower. A laundry room is also available.
The lower level is reached by an outside door and along with the ping pong table you will find space for craft projects such as drift wood pictures, etc.
We have a two car garage, a large deck with table and chairs, and two fenced yards. The front yard includes a patio with fire pit and a small table for more intimate dining. (Marshmallow roasting sticks are in the kitchen!)

This house was a great value! It had an awesome fenced in yard with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and is just a quick walk to the beach. It was a great place to take kids or for extra house guests if you're short on room.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a wonderful rental home! 2 large bedrooms and 2 baths, laundry room and what a view! The owner made us feel like we were staying with friends. Loved sitting by the fire and looking out at the ocean. Nicely decorated for Christmas, had everything you could need or want!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving on Camano Island! The house was warm & cozy, the kitchen was just the right size, and the open floor plan allowed me to cook and still visit with my kids. The bed in the master bedroom was comfy and the jetted tub was relaxing. The house was decorated with a fall/Thanksgiving theme which made it very homey. Thank you! We hope to return in the summer!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Year Purchased: 2012
About the owner: My main residence is in Kent, WA where I live. I will eventually retire to my Camano home, but am presently working so need to stay close for now.
Why the Owner Chose Camano Island:
I fell in love with the house, yard, community and the view of the Sound. Definitely looking forward to spending more time up there eventually, but want to share it with others for now.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The chance to enjoy the view, especially when there is a wonderful sunset, and just relax in a much less hurried atmosphere is the 'calling' of this home. The jetted tub in the master bath can also add to the relaxation factor!
