We've made every effort to make your stay at our new 2BR/2BA condo truly special! The property features many upgrades including premium bedding, HD flat screen televisions with cable channels; ROKU (living room); Playstation 3 (guest room); and Amazon Fire TV (master bedroom), granite countertops, new Bosch kitchen appliances, high speed internet with computer station and printer, tile floors, wood burning fireplace, whirlpool tub, bath amenities including soaps, lotions and shampoos, luxurious linens and towels and much more!
The condo front door is easy-access ground level -- two steps up from the front lawn walking path, and only seven steps up from the parking lot. The private balcony is on the second level with serene sunset vistas overlooking the valley and mountain. The condo features a spacious kitchen with open floorplan to living room, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, full size washer/dryer with complimentary dryer sheets and detergent and printer.

NOTE: Effective 12/1/13 Wintergreen Management has restricted access to Devil's Knob golf course, restaurant and the aquatics center to resort guests only; however tennis academy students or individuals purchasing a spa service may receive a pass for the aquatics and fitness center. As always, the ski slopes, Stoney Creek Golf Course, Discovery Ridge, Coppermine Restaurant, The Edge Sports Bar, Lake Monocan (except Saturdays) and resort-sponsored activities are open to the general public. A property owner guest pass is included with your stay which provides unlimited access to Chestnut Springs Park & Pool on the mountain top and Rodes Farm pool/tennis in the Stoney Creek valley. Directions are included in your arrival instructions packet.

The condo is in the North Ridge area on Wintergreen Resort property. It is immediately adjacent to the spa, tennis facility and Devil's Knob golf course and 1 mile from the Mountain Inn ski slopes. Our community is serviced by the resort shuttle service, which stops by the parking lot right outside our condo frequently throughout the day and drops off at various locations on the resort, including the ski lifts.
The condo entrance is ground-level with only five steps elevation from parking. The private balcony sits one level up from the ground, offering great panoramic views and cool breezes.
Wintergreen is consistently rated by Tennis Magazine as a top 10 family resort, with top-notch instruction and other activities for the entire family. This getaway also boasts the Devil's Knob championship golf course, the highest elevation golf course in Virginia and also one of the most beautiful. Tennis, golf and the course restaurant are a scant ten minute walk from the property's front door. Most well known of the resort's attractions are the top-notch ski facilities boasting the steepest slopes in the entire mid-Atlantic region, with snow tubing and lessons for beginners. Summer activities include outdoor swimming pools, bungee trampolines, mini golf, zipline and an arcade complete with mechanical bull, billiards and myriad gaming stations. Younger visitors will enjoy the Treehouse with babysitting and age appropriate activities. About a ten minute drive down to the valley you can find numerous breweries, wineries, fly fishing and the resort's private beachfront lake. Easily accessible by drive from the Washington-Baltimore area, getting here is part of the fun - a trip through the winding Blue Ridge Parkway awakens the senses and the cool mountain air is a refreshing break from summer humidity and insects. No need for stressful air travel. If it's pampering you seek, you can find it in the luxurious spa, hottubs, indoor and outdoor pool just a ten minute walk from this property's front door. If you do have some time left, be sure to visit the nature center and take a guided tour through the many hiking trails on the mountains.

About the owner: We're New Jersey natives who have always loved the Shenandoah and Blue Ridge areas. We love getting away from the bugs and stifling heat of the summer and coming up to the mountain to play endless tennis, golf and enjoy beautifully prepared food. At the end of the day, we enjoy watching the sunset with a glass of wine on the balcony. We purchased the condo from Laura who had renovated the condo to make it a home away from home that everyone would enjoy spending time in and want to share with friends and family. Laura set the hospitality bar very high. With the help of the same property managers that she used, we'll be making every effort to maintain those high standards. Welcome, and make yourself at home!
Why the Owner Chose Wintergreen: We love this location because it is a short walk to all of our favorite activities and has a spectacular view and cross-breezes. The shuttle makes getting to the ski lifts very easy, and local destinations like wineries, breweries, and fly fishing are just a 10 minute drive away.

Luxurious down pillows, sateen sheets, down comforter and pillow-top provide a peaceful night's rest from all the daily activities, and the full size washer/dryer help avoid the 'catch up' work when you return home from your vacation. With high-speed internet and a computer station, you can keep up with work if you must, and we keep the Keurig stocked with tea and coffee. We've tried hard to make this a home away from home!
