  The apartment was perfect for our holiday. It was spotlessly clean and the balcony was superb for breakfast in the morning sun, and in the evening for sundowners. Great sunsets.. There was no noise from neighbours or traffic, and nothing was too much trouble for Gio, the owner, who went out of her way to make us welcome and to ensure that we had the very best of holidays.She is an excellent host. The walk along the sea front and the Olympic size swimming pool situated next to the ocean were two great features of this location. And The Winchester Hotel next door has a charm and elegance of a bygone age which must be visited. I would certainly recommend this apt to a single traveller or a holiday couple.You will not be disappointed !

  The heading above refers to both the apartment and the owner! Getting right to the point, I highly recommend this wonderful apartment in Norfolk House, Sea Point, and would return in a flash. The location is perfect, with outstanding views of Table Mountain, Lion's Head, and the ocean. It is across Beach Road from a lovely promenade that extends all along the ocean and from a bus stop for the Hop-On, Hop-Off double decker buses that visit sights around Cape Town, with excellent recorded narration. It is also next door to Winchester Mansions, a lovely hotel--a convenient location for tour company pick-up, and for breakfast or drinks in the courtyard or front patio. Gio, the owner of this apt and other apts in the building, is delightful, helpful, knowledgeable about the city, and manages with true grace and style. Thanks, Gio, we loved our time there!

  Last week my friend and I returned home from Capetown. Our visit there was nothing short of awesome which was largely due to Gio and her wonderful condo which we rented. It was ideally located on the Main Street across from the Hop On, Hop Off bus, the park and lovely promenade adjacent to the beach and Atlantic Ocean. From the condo itself and balcony there were captivating views from every direction including Table Mountain and the ocean. The condo itself was beautiful with much glass and tastefully furnished. Gio saw that all of our needs were met from the good linens to coffee and cream in the refrigerator. Her advise on tours was of immeasurable help. She was right on about what to see, how to get there and where to eat. We are looking forward to a return visit to Capetown and will be sure to stay in this same unit. It was amazing.

  The perfect location! The perfect view! The apartment is so charming you almost don't want to leave it to explore Cape Town. I stayed here for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. I would most definitely stay here again next time I am in Cape Town! LOVE IT.

  I visit Cape Town three times a year for month-long stays to work on a public health project. Being away from home for so long means I look for a rental that is more than comfortable--it needs to be a treat. This apartment fits the bill and more. The location is fantastic--midway between the city bowl and the beaches, with a stunning view of the ocean that provides postcard-worthy sunsets each evening. The flat is stylishly decorated and has a long list of mod cons. I believe the owner is thinking of installing air conditioning in the future but otherwise, it's very nicely appointed. Perhaps the best part of staying here is the owner, Gio. Never have I been made to feel so welcome and every care catered to. She is a charming hostess and problem sorter extraordinaire! I HIGHLY recommend this flat for a single or couple...I think it may be too small for more.
