Our home is located in Antigua´s most exclusive residential area Las Gravileas. The house was designed and built by famous architect Franklin Contreras. The house offers 1 Master Bedroom with 1 King size bed, sitting area, flat screen tv, terrace, private bath, double vanity and hard wood floors and fireplace.Second bedroom offers one double bed, private bath and closet, third room has one full sofabed and 55' screen tv, private bath and closet. First floor room offers one King Size Bed, private bath, flat screen tv and closet. All rooms feature local handicrafts, Persian rugs and antiques. Room on first floor can be turned into two twin beds.
The living room is a gorgeous and well lit area with a beautiful fireplace and a stunning Persian rug. Right outside of the main living room there is a very comfortable terrace area with yet another living room and fireplace. The main dining room seats 8 people and has a wood burning fireplace as well as a beautiful view to an interior garden with fountain. The breakfast area is in the terrace right outside the main dining room and the gourmet kitchen. Al fresco breakfast is just one of the many luxuries in the house.
The gourmet kitchen features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. You will find all necessary implements to cook your favorite recipes.
Washer and drier are also available in the separate laundry room.
A nice garden is available and a beautiful kids playground.

My husband and I stayed at this home first of April. It was a nice and secluded gated community but an easy walk to Hotel Santo Domingo and easy stroll to the rest of Antigua. The home was beautifully decorated and designed by a famous architect in Antigua but very comfortable space as well. Lots of outdoor areas to entertain. Julia who has worked for the family for years was great and we enjoyed seeing her every day. She went to the market with us one day and we picked out fresh vegetables and chicken of which she turned into a wonderful meal for us and our friends. I would stay here again! Owners are very gracious and helpful.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

My husband and I stayed in this home early April of this year. It was beautifully designed by a famous architect well known in Antigua. The home was stylish but comfortable, has great outdoor spaces, a covered parking area, and is in a quiet and gated community. We were able to drive into town but a walk is certainly feasible as well. It was close to the Santo Domingo hotel so we had a chance to discover a different section of the town and had many meals in that beautiful hotel. Julia who works for the family was there every day and was very kind. We even went to the market with her and she cooked a traditional meal for us and 2 other friends. Had a great time and would recommend this home for 2 or more couples and certainly families as the yard is fenced, nice playground, childs room, etc.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

A property damage coverage policy is required for U$89.00 Total Amount Due: Rental Rules Agreement: 1. NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted in the Property, but you may smoke outside. 2. DAMAGE/SECURITY and RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A Property Damage Coverage Policy of $89 is required. It covers up to $5000 in damages to the house. About the owner: We are a small family of 3. Both my wife and I studied abroad in Europe and the US and have a degree in hotel and restaurant management. We came to Antigua 14 years ago to open a new restaurant. We planned on a 6 month stay and fell in love with the city. We are living here ever since. We enjoy travelling and eating well. This is reflected throughout the house in the many art pieces and antiques we have brought from different countries and in the hughe kitchen where we love to eat and entertain our guests. When we designed the house we wanted to always look at green areas. We love the outdoors! So, no matter where you are in the house you will alwas have a look to our outside garden, our interior gardens, the volcanoes or the mountains. We absolutelly love to keep fresh flowers in the house!
Why the Owner Chose Antigua:
We built this house in the most beautiful area of Antigua Guatemala because we wanted our children to grow up in a secure and healthy enviroment. We could not have found a better spot!!!
Renting our house has been a great experience. We have met people from all over the world and have also had the chance to visit them back. Very rewarding!!
