Very well appointed and professionally decorated the pictures do not even do justice to this very comfortable West End vacation home.
Located in the View of Sunset Estates at the top of the hill above Sunset Villas and West End. With only 6 units in this boutique development you will enjoy the privacy of the location, community pool and lush landscaping all within walking distance to the dining, shopping, nightlife and diving of West End village.
~ The sunsets are what this villa is famous for; you have a covered veranda off the main living area to sit under and sip your drinks while watching the sunset!
~ The condo is beautifully decorated in a tropical island style, completely equipped with all of the amenities.Each room is air-conditioned and offers two large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, walk in closet, dresser, and wooden shades over all of the windows. The guest bedroom is also a queen bed, dressers, armoire, an en-suite bathroom, and shades on all windows. A washer and dryer is located in the condo for guest use.
The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, cable TV, DVD/CD Player, and WiFi access in the condo. Private pool access on bottom floor.
Condo patio features outdoor dining table and a propane Barbeque. A secure safe is available to store cash, passports and valuables.

~ Roatan is famous for it's coral reef and spectacular diving. West End is full of reliable, professional dive shops. Groups are small and dives go out 3 times a day.
~ There is a variety of fishing boat captains on the island waiting to take you out, fly fish the reef flats or deep sea fishing is available. No long waiting or advanced reservations needed, just ask our property managers for more details.
~ Enjoy the island’s most beautiful beach by taking a nearby water taxi to West Bay and enjoy some beach bars, rental paddle boats, and some gorgeous snorkeling.
~ Easy to Get to: Roatan is easier to get to than many Caribbean destinations. The Roatan airport has non-stop flights on Saturdays and/or Sundays, from Newark (New York), Houston, Atlanta, and Miami; on Continental, Delta, and Taca. There are also weekly charters from Milan and Toronto, and frequent daily flights from San Pedro Sula on mainland Honduras, with daily connections there from the U.S. on the above airlines plus American Airlines.
~ The property is managed by local management company, Roatan Life. They will orient you to our condo, provide you with a cell phone for your use while on the island and are available for any condo issues and provide a wide variety of concierge services.

We spent a week on Roatan recently, and the entire stay was wonderful. The condo is very comfortable, though there were only 2 of us, I think it would be ideal for 4 people. The location is great, close enough to the village of West End to walk in each day. It is located atop a hill, and there are 84 stairs up to your door, so it's not for those with mobility difficulty. We took a cab back up the hill each evening, which worked well for us. We'd thought of renting a car, but didn't need one. Cabs are cheap and easy to find, we spent less on cab fare than car rental would've cost. The accommodations at the condo were excellent and just as pictured online. It is well furnished and maintained, plenty of towels and very clean, The kitchen is certainly more than we needed, with a very nice grill on the balcony, and we recommend that you let them carry you to the grocery on your way in from the airport for your provisions. We arrived on Superbowl Sunday, and even got to watch the game on the cable TV which carries the US networks. The management group, Roatan Life, does a very professional job from start to finish. They communicated well with us prior to our arrival, Tex met us at the airport, and Mark was waiting at the condo upon our arrival to give us the keys and orient us to the unit. Everyone was very friendly and professional, I cannot think of anything we wished to have that they didn't offer. We will definitely be returning, next time with another couple to share the fun. We enjoyed West End much more than the more tourist oriented West Bay, and the diving was wonderful. We highly recommend this unit, it is secure, comfortable, and overall an ideal selection for a vacation stay. I only wish that we could've stayed longer. Thank you for letting us use your delightful island get away!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway.

THE CONDO IS LOCATED AT THE END OF THE WEST END AT THE VERY TOP OF THE HILL.IT HAS A BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM THE BALCONY AND IF YOU GO UP ONE MORE FLIGHT OF STAIRS TO THE VERY TOP YOU CAN SEE MORE TO THE WEST AND MORE OF THE OEAN. WE WERE MET AT THE AIRPORT BY THE MARK WHO RECOMMENDED WE RENT A CAR SINCE A STORM WAS COMING IN.BECAUSE THERE WAS FOUR OF US WE DECIDED TO GET OUR GROGERIES ETC AND MET LIZ AT THE WEST END .SHE TOOK US TO THE CONDO AND WENT THROUGH THE PROPERTY WITH US. THERE IS ALOT OF STAIRS TO THE TOP SO IT WOULD NOT BE GOOD IF YOU WERE NOT IN GOOD HEALTH. THE PROPERTY IS GUARDED AT THE ENTRANCE AS WELL AS THE TOP RIGHT OUTSIDE THE CONDO COMPLEX. THE CONDO IS WELL EQUIPPED WITH EVERYTHING. THEY PROVIDE YOU WITH A CELL PHONE AND YOU CAN ADD MINUTES BY PURCHASING ($5) GOES A LONG WAY.UNFORTUNATELY IT STORMED FOR FOUR DAYS AND THEN RAINED FOR THE NEXT FIVE (WE HAD ONLY 3 HOURS OF SUN IN NINE DAYS ) SO THE WASHER AND DRYER GOT USED! WE USED THE BBQ AND WHILE SITTING OUTSIDE THE HUMMINGBIRDS COME LOOKING FOR FOOD SO WE SET UP THE FEEDER THAT WAS IN THE KITCHEN. IT WAS AMAZING TO SEE SO MANY COME TO THE FEEDER. THE POWER GOES OUT OFTEN ON THE ISLAND SO BRING SMALL FLASHLIGHTS THEY ALSO HELP AS WALKING UP TO THE CONDO CAN BE DARK AT TIMES BUT THE LIGHTS ARE MOTION SENSORED.THE PROPERTY IS IS GREAT AND THE PICTURES SHOW THE CONDO VERY WELL.IF YOU GO DOWN THE HILL AND TURN LEFT TO THE BAREFOOT INN LOOK UP HOMER & STEPHEN GREAT GUYS TO TAKE YOU OUT FISHING & SNORKELING. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A MODERN YACHT THIS ISN'T FOR YOU THESE GUYS ARE LOCAL BROTHERS WHO KNOW THIER FISHING AND THE OCEAN! THE BLUE MARLIN WAS A GREAT PLACE TO GO FOR DRINKS AND THE EVENING HAS KAREOKE ON THRUSDAYS.TRY THE ARGENTIAN GRILL ON THE OTHERSIDE OF THE CHURCH FOOD WAS GREAT BUT A BIT MORE $.VENDORS ON THE STREET HAVE GOOD BANITOS FOR CHEAP WE TOOK CLOTHES AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE ORPHANAGE (SANDY BAY MINISTRIES) ALSO MARK IS INVOLVED WITH THE SOL FOUNDATION AND SO WE TOOK SUPPLIES FOR THIS FOUNDATION AS WELL.ROATAN LIFE VACATION RENTALS ARE GREAT AND WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THESE ACCOMADATIONS.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our visit started with the property management company setting up airport pickup. Tex was waiting for us with a sign. He dropped us safely off at the condo where Liz was waiting for us. She was very personable and walked us through the condo to make sure we were happy with everything. I was happy to see that the condo looked just like photos posted online. The condo has a washer/dryer, safe, water cooler, A/C in bedrooms/main common area, pool, 2 bedrooms/bathrooms, and great covered patio. The one complaint I have is if you don't rent a car or scooter, you have to walked up/down a steep hill. I would recommend getting a flashlight for the walk up the hill at night or get a taxi to take you up. FYI - Taxis are super reasonable in West End. One great thing is you are in walking distance to most restaurants and beaches in West End as well as the water taxi to West Bay. We were very pleased with the condo and property management company. I will recommend this property to family and friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

About the owner: Always wondering what's around the next corner our travels eventually took us from the Pacific NW and dropped us in Roatan for the next chapter of our lives! So far we love it and are looking forward to exploring this fabulous island, the people and oh yes...our new found sport.....Diving! We hope you enjoy our home while you are away from your home exploring this beautiful place!
Why the Owner Chose West End:
Since we come from from a smaller relaxed community in the States we fell in love with Roatan on our first vacation to the island because it was similar to home. We found the perfect condo on a hill with outstanding views of the Caribbean, the reef and the mesmerizing lightning shows out over the sea at night! Even though it is 2012, Roatan is no where close to being overwhelmed with High Rise Hotels and Casinos. Living in the small community of West End is like taking a ride through the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' in Disneyland except you can get off the ride and experience it for yourself.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
On our first trip to Roatan we looked at dozens of possible places to buy. There were beach properties, ocean front properties, and jungle properties! But as soon as my wife walked into the Sunset Views Estates Villa she starting crying because of the incredible feeling of home and the sweeping views of the Caribbean. We decided right then that being able to sit out on the patio and gaze out over the sea and take in the awesome sunsets every night trumped having a place right on the beach. The beach is nice to spend the afternoon at but being able to retreat to our penthouse condo and enjoy the peace and quiet along with the gentle morning and evening tropical breeze is hard to beat!
