My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary with a trip west. We spent a full week at Loon Lake Lodge. How peaceful! The lodge was so comfortable and classy, with western ambiance and that amazing turquoise green lake just outside the door. In addition to the various dragonflies, butterflies, ducks and squirrels, we saw a Golden Eagle and a Bald Eagle while we were there! I totally enjoyed the paddle boat. Glacier National Park and White Fish were easy to get to form the lodge. I even found an awesome Yarn Store in Kalispell! Kit and Shelby were the ultimate hosts, leaving us on our own after making sure we had everything we needed. Being so far from home, it was great to know they were only a phone call away if we needed them. Everything was perfect! Thanks! Ruth (and Bob)

Our family spent one week here and travelled into Glacier National Park several times too. Sometimes it was difficult to decide to leave the beautiful spot on Ashley Lake to go out and about. The scenery is so wonderful and there are so many things to do here with the boats, games, fire pit and more. The kitchen is especially well supplied so that "eating in" is so easy and enjoyable. There are something like 100 videos here too, if you have any rainy days. Kit and Shelby are wonderful and willing to help in any way. Our teenagers are already talking about our next trip there! Thank you for this wonderful week in this special place!

We had a great time in this beautiful lakeside property. We drove there on a dark, rainy night and the owner actually met us in Kalispell and personally led us to the cabin to make sure we could find it in those conditions. Everything was as we had hoped it would be. Its a very clean, relaxing, enjoyable place to stay.

From the minute we met the owners and pulled up to the Lodge we knew we had stumbled upon a gem. As a bonus met some very quality people! The property itself was well stocked, clean as a whistle, and very well laid out for family living! We landed, unloaded and proceeded to enjoy all this pristine lake and surrounding area had to offer. Our three kids (15,13 and 6) waterskied/ tubed the glass water, and trail rode the back woods. We were even able to rent a jet ski which was delivered to us on the lake! The lawn area next to the lake allowed for family play next to the water and our boat was right there for us any time we wanted to enjoy the lake. We are a very active family, but also enjoyed the sounds of the Loons and watching the lake change it's complextion with the weather.

Loon Song Lodge, beautiful in itself, looks out on a lovely lake view that changes with each moment -- a picture that would be the envy of the greatest artists. During our one week stay at the lodge, it could have comfortably accommodated four or five more that the nine people in our group. The Montana décor from the comfortable log beds, attractive family room furniture, well equipped kitchen, to the wildlife pictures on the walls complemented the panorama of lake and wooded hills. All contributed to our relaxing, peaceful visit to Ashley Lake with its loons and other waterfowl.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Loon Song Lodge this past week. The accommodations were the BEST! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen and living areas were great. We took a paddle boat and canoe ride each morning. We heard the loons each evening and sometimes in the morning. The deck off the living area was a real treat --loved sipping coffee there in the mornings and relaxing there in the evening. Another of our favorite aspects of the Lodge is that it is located on a beautiful, QUIET, peaceful lake. We didn't have to listen to speed boats zooming up and down the lake at all hours of the day. It couldn't have been any better. Thank you again for sharing your lovely Lodge and Ashley Lake with us. We are grateful. You have quite a treasure in the Loon Song Lodge --I can't wait to stay there again.

Beautiful property, fantastic view from living room and decks. Beautifully furnished and decorated. An extremely comfortable house, all the amenities. Very spacious and lovely rooms. Great place to stay....highly recommended
