  100 Acre Lodge was a fantastic destination for my wife's 30th birthday. We ended up having 17 people come and had plenty of room for people to sleep and spread out. Guests kept saying how much they loved the place and enjoyed their stay for the party. We had only two complaints and one was because of mother nature. We have had a really wet Spring so the Wisconsin River was about 30 yards up the property. This put the fire pit underwater. We did end up making our own a little farther up the yard to compensate. The other small complaint was that it says that the lodge is secluded, which it is, but there are neighbors about ten yards away. When we thought secluded that it meant no one within at least 5,000 cubits! Other than that it was perfect. The weather warmed up on Saturday and a couple fair skinned friends even got burnt. We are already talking about renting it again in the summer for a whole week instead of just a weekend.

  This log home is gorgeous! Six friends from college spent the weekend there and had ample space! The property is well-maintained, clean and has everything you need! The owner was wonderful to work with and renting the home was easy. We will most definitely stay there again!

  What a super exciting week-end we had sharing it with our family, all under one roof. Not many places you can go where a big family can share the fun together without leaving. Very, very clean also and with directions on how to get there, nobody had any problems. So thanks go out to the owner for opening up his place for visitors to enjoy, and enjoy we did. Thanks Again.

  A beautiful space! We had a group of 21 adults, and everyone was very pleased. There was enough room for everyone to sleep, and the common areas were spacious and inviting. Our group was looking for a ski/snowboard weekend.. This place was perfect with Cascade Mountain only 10 minutes away. We had a few guests who did not want to ski, who went into town for a spa day. If you couldn't find anything in Portage, Wisconsin Dells is only 30 minutes away. The owner was also very accommodating and responsive. A great place to rent! We will definitely keep this in mind next winter, as well as possible renting it out for the summer (right on the lake, plenty of outdoor space, and a trampoline!) Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

  We rented the log home for a three generation family gathering/lock-in with 17 family members. The home was perfect - tons of room for the kids and adults to spread out - three floors, plenty of room for everyone to eat at the same time and two open bays in the garage so we could park and unload in the cold winter weather. The home was very clean when we arrived and plenty of clean towels available for our group. I would suggest, if you have more than about 17 people that you bring a couple of air mattresses to set up on the lower level - there's tons of room down there and it was also a great place to send the kids and the xbox. The house is really stunning, the owner was very easy to communicate with and the overall rental experience was a breeze. The only thing that would have made the experience even better would have been a hot tub, especially since we were renting the first weekend in January.

  It was a beautiful facility that was clean beyond compare. It was so cold and my colleagues were not really willing to go out in the town so we stayed in and worked with the owner to order a PPV fight. The dartboard wasn't working but that was the only issue (friends were looking forward to it). Also the propane tank was out of gas but just had to run into town to get a new one. Like previously stated, the house was immaculate in terms of cleaning. All faculties worked.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  Went on weekend getaway and slept 14 with room to spare. Cabin and surroundings are gorgeous. Loved hangin out on huge back deck with great view. Nicely secluded with all attractions within 20 minutes. Even found a cab company from the Dells to drive us around all weekend. Owner Mike was great and returned all calls, texts, and emails quickly. Would definately rent this cabin again and would recommend to anybody looking to get away to Dells area.

  We stayed at this beautiful log cabin awhile back for work/team building and it couldn't have been more perfect!!!!! Spacious with a great open floor plan, it was amazing how many people this house can sleep!!! We had 21 people all in a comfortable sleeping arrangement, as the cost of a hotel would have been 10x the cost! Perfect for family reunions, work gatherings or a romantic get away. We had some take advantage of fishing in the river, others enjoying the huge back deck, playing backyard games such as bocce, baseball, horseshoes- is all possible with this amazing rental.

  Great place for anyone who loves the outdoors. Quiet, clean, and absolutely beautiful place. Stayed with a group of friends and enjoyed the peaceful outdoors. Great for families or groups of friends.
