Ray and Nanette Borges welcome you to our little piece of paradise, nestled in a cove, overlooking four mountain ranges. Our cabin is located in the heart of the Western North Carolina mountains, just a few minutes drive from the Smoky Mountain National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Maggie Valley.
At an elevation of 3600 feet, you’ll enjoy the cool mountain breezes from your own front porch swing or rocker. The peace and quiet will overwhelm you year after year. Yet, the convenience to all of the area’s beauty and attractions are at your leisure.
The cabin is tastefully decorated, with full kitchen and amenities. A gas log fireplace and air conditioner ensure your total comfort. The cabin includes refrigerator, stove/oven, satellite and TV, DVD player, free wireless Internet, microwave, washer and dryer, linens, BBQ grill, picnic table, and campfire pit. Pets are welcome, but a pet fee is required.

The moment we drove up and went inside it felt like we were right at home. The Christmas Tree was a welcome sight, and thank you for the lovely decorations to make us feel like we were celebrating Christmas in our own home. The Cabin was perfect for all our needs. My Mom visiting from Australia loved the downstairs beedroom and bath. My two boys loved the loft area, and my dog Gilligan absolutely lovee running around outside.. It wouldn't have been Christmas without him with us. My husband Chris and I want to exteend our warmest thanks for a wonderful Christmas Holiday.Did you find this review helpful? Ray and Nanette, Thank you so much for accomodating us and our skip plans. We had a great time on the slopes and will absolutely return here next year. Thank you also for getting up early and scraping and salting the road so that we could leave early and hit the slopes. Cabin was warm and cozy and we could not have asked for a better place. Stay safe and God bless.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Ray and Nanette, We enjoyed this cabin. It was the perfect place for a family getaway. The decorations really went witht he name of the cabins! We had fun because the tubing and ski areas are close and a nice place to have fun with the family. We hope we can come again later this year! :) P.S. The goats were friendly :)Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was our 3rd visit to this cabin. It's our new "get-away" place to retreat to! The snow was beautiful, and we kept very cozy with the gas logs. Thank you for giving us another clean, cozy, and relaxing place to stay! We will be back!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We came this weekend to attend Open House @ Western Carolina Univeristy for our son, and thought it would be much more fun to stay in a cabin. I felt like I was in a "modern" Little House on the Prarie home. It is so beautiful here and peaceful. It was comforting to be able to bring our Labe "Koda" with us, too. Also got to spend time @ Cataloochee Ski Resort and had good family time. We will definitely be back to visit since our son will be located @ WCU in the fall. Thank you for making it such a pleasurable experience!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We really enjoyed staying in your cabin. The pictures don't do it justice; it's just the perfect little hideaway. We enjoyed coming back and being greeted by Smokey and Bandit (the goats). If we are ever in the area again, this will be our first stop!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
