Located in the sleepy village of Ewa Beach, "The Hula Moon" is right on the beachfront, sporting views of Diamond Head and Waikiki from your open deck, located on the second level of a two story house. You have your own private entrance. Walk across the front lawn directly to your sandy beach.
This three bedroom, one large bathroom home is a renovated 1940s Hawaiian home, decorated in the style of the 1940s and 1950s when tourists came to Hawaii aboard the grand Matson Liners and the Pan American Clipper Ships.
Vintage rattan furniture, deco style, and Hawaiian collectibles grace the house for your pleasure. Our ceilings are over nine feet high. Two bedrooms have a Queen-size bed in each. The third bedroom has two twin beds. The house is approximately 1250 square feet. There is a spacious full kitchen and large living room, from which the ocean views are visible for your enjoyment. Free highspeed WiFi internet. Free unlimited long distance phone to the US/Canada/Neighbor Islands. Free uncovered parking for one car on site.
Please see our other vacation property listing under #3830 (Ewa Moon) to view the other house on the first level of this two story home. Photos of #3830 show the lawn area, the ocean in front of the house and the view of Diamond Head from our beach. You have access to the beach across the lawn, but the lawn, deck and picnic areas are reserved for guests of the Ewa Moon. Both units can be rented for larger family/friends getaways!
The house and surrounding area have the feel of "Old Hawaii" and appear to have stood still in time. Tall coconut trees sway in the breeze, as you stroll along the beach. There are local fisherman who cast off the shoreline and spear fish in the reef. Local children ride and frolic in the gentle waves.
If you want a flavor of "the real Hawaii," you have it here. Turtles also frequent the area, and you may catch glimpses of them close to shore. Ewa Beach has more sun than any other part of Oahu, and it's always warm!
Just 5 minutes away is Starbucks; 15 minutes away is the popular Waikele Outlet Shopping Center, frequented by tourists from all over the world. Some of the famous stores include Levi's, Villeroy and Boch, Mikasa, Saks Fith Avenue, Big Dog Sportswear, IZOD, Oshkosh, Polo Jeans, Anne Klein, Vans Shoes, Local Motion and many more!
The best beginning surfing on Oahu is found here. You are three to five minutes from six golf courses, including Hawaii Prince Golf Course. A fabulous Water Park is seven miles away!
This getaway is ideal if you want to avoid mega resorts and tourist ridden areas! |
