Our family spent Easter vacation at this beautiful log home, known as "Lancelot Lodge". Every amentity was available to make our stay extra special - a luxurious, full-stocked kitchen, beautiful rock fireplace to make smores, comfortable bedrooms, state of the art bathrooms, a pool table, and plenty of breath taking property to hike on. We would highly recommend spending your vacation here. In addition, there are several beautiful rivers and lakes to visit and hike around, and Tahoe is very close by.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed at the cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. There were 10 of us in our party and the cabin slept everyone very comfortably. The cabin is absolutely beautifull, very nicely furnished and all the conveniences of home. Very relaxing! Would recommend for a great getaway!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This is a beautiful classy vacation hideway for family or group with all the comforts of home in perfect condition. Truly luxurious accommodations at affordable prices. We enjoyed going winetasting nearby. It's a perfect getaway from the busy city life back to nature's peaceful tranquility. We loved the clean invigorating air oudoors by day & the warm relaxation playing cards by the fireplace indoors at night. Our family loved it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Spacious and elegant! I was amazed to find this very fancy cabin on a quiet road in the woods. Gourmet kitchen and lots of room for the kids with a separate playroom downstairs. It was an easy drive to so many outdoor activities. We had a great time hiking at Silver Lake and Kirkwood Lake and playing in the potholes on the river. In the evenings we loved having smores and sat outside for hours by the fire pit. I would be happy to just stay in and read a book in this lovely cabin. Like the nicest Northstar cabins at a much better price. We made a second trip up in July we were so pleased with the hiking! About the owner: This beautiful cabin was built in 2008. We bought it from the original owners as a weekend getaway for us and our 4 children. It reminds us of the home we used to own in the Black Forest area of Colorado where all of our children were born.
Why the Owner Chose Sutter Creek:
This property is on 6 secluded acres in the Sherwood Forest area of Pioneer. We have so missed the smell of pine trees and the forest setting. This cabin has all of the things that made us homesick for Colorado.
The Unique Benefits at this Lodge:
The log construction and beautiful furnishings of this home along with it's setting gives us such a peaceful and relaxed feeling. We are only 4 miles from the nearest grocery store but on a private forested lot where you feel you are part of nature.
