'Vintage' Vero is a three bedroom home guarded by a picket fences in Downtown Vero. Restaurants, parks, art galleries, bistros, the Main Public Library, the court house, boutiques and much more can all be see while strolling. You are probably wondering...where is the BEACH? The beach is a scenic 15 minutes ride away with several beach sites to choose from.
Are you a bridge player? The Vero Beach Bridge Center, ranked 9th in the nation, is but a short ride away down 14th Avenue. The beach is a 15 minute ride across a scenic bridge. Sunday mornings are filled with church bells inviting you to worship by it's surrounding houses of worship.
Look for the Friday nights when Downtown Vero closes it's main street, 14th Avenue, for strollers to enjoy outdoor music, dancing, food and diffirent venders. You are but a few blocks away from the action.
Vintage Vero has it's historic roots well placed, built in the 1940's whereby moldings and built ins distinguished this home from the others. Starting from the sunny game room welcoming you to a game of chess, darts, or cards. Walk into the living room with it's cozy fireplace filled with candles. Lunch in the formal dining room or have your breakfast in the breakfast room, my favorite. From it's many windows I can watch passer byers and their pets. The first bedroom, which used to be mine, has a queen size bed and a Queen Anne high boy with drawers. Next to it is a bedroom with a twin bed and desk. The book shelf is ideal to storing personal items. The third bedroom is off to the right of the game room. It has a day bed with an extra twin bed underneath. Vintage Vero has a one car garage and of to the side of the garage is a complete laundry room and quarter bathroom. Stretch out on the blue deck for some sun....relax...you are home.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: My name is Mrs. Malloy and I am a retired High School Language teacher. I bought this home for it reminded me of an era less complicated. No need for a car for you can easily walk to restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, the community center, parks, museum and more.
Why the Owner Chose Other Vero Beach Properties:
My 'Vintage Vero' has a vantage location as it's as easy to travel east toward the beach as west toward I-95 our main expressway. Going north will take you to Sebastian and on to Melbourne, Florida. Traveling south you can visit the McGee Botanical Garden. Better still, from your vacation rental you can stroll down to 14th Avenue and visit the Heritage Center and the Indian River Citrus Museum. My friend Ray offers Ballroom dancing at the Community Center next door to the Heritage Center.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
What I like most about 'Vintage Vero' is it's location, so easy to go anywhere. If you don't feel like using your car, the main depot for the public transportation is available near by. Get on this public bus for there is no fee. What a wonderful way to sight-see my home town.
