Upstairs has master bedroom with king-size bed and bath, two bedrooms with two twin beds and bath, loft area with queen-size futon, games and bumper pool table. Downstairs has another master bedroom with queen-size bed and bath, living and dining room, kitchen and laundry room.
Our house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with level access to lake at Lake Almanor West. Our unique location offers great swimming, beach with private boat dock and buoy. Lake Almanor is great for water skiing and wake boarding. Jet skis are permitted and rented nearby. Afternoon breezes make for good sailing as well.
Excellent fly, spinning, and troll fishing in the lake and surrounding rivers and streams for trophy-sized rainbow trout and brown trout, as well as land-locked Chinook salmon, smallmouth bass, and largemouth bass.
Our Home Owner’s Association has a nine-hole golf course, four tennis courts, a basketball court, a lakefront recreation area (with huge grass area, barbecues, sand beach, and children’s play equipment), all within walking distance of the house, and a boat launch ramp that is just down the road. There are two more golf courses in the area including the new 18 hole Bailey Creek course.

Nearby towns include Chester (6 miles), Westwood (15 miles) Chico (70 miles) and Reno (100 miles).
Mount Lassen Volcanic National Park with the gorgeous Mount Lassen is not far for a hiking adventure. More activities than you can do in a week and have some downtime to relax.
Winter is also a lovely time of year with snowfall around the house. Nearby you can rent snowmobiles and cross country skis. There are also many places to enjoy sledding. Or just settle in by the woodstove with a great book or game and watch the snowfall. |
