We've stayed several times at this home. It is immaculate and the owners treat you like their treasured guests. Great location, quiet cove but right around the corner is the main body of Lake Burton. The home has it all, spacious and well appoiinted but has the charm of a mountain cabin. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Our stay at Lake Burton was a nice way to escape the heat of Atlanta. The house was comfortable and attractive. The walk to the lake was short and not steep which was a plus. The minus was the view. With all the beautiful mountains and lake views, this house faced the dam:( That was the major disappointment and with that said, I feel the weekly rental was a bit steep, Plus you have to pay a cleaning fee.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed that "damn house" by the Damn! We had folks come from all over the US. Everyone felt the Berryhill's house was "DAMN" near perfect ( since it was near the damn ) for relaxing after long days on the water having fun!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

I would highly recommend this house for a lake rental. We had 2 families (4 adults and 4 teenagers) and the house fit us perfect. It was nicely appointed (great hardwoods) and felt like a true lake house. Great porch for cocktails after a long day on the lake. Also indoor and outdoor seating for dinner was a big plus. Great skiing cove right around the corner. Also, the homeowner was very attentive. He made sure the house was in good shape prior to our stay and was always able to answer our questions. We had a couple of very minor issues which he dealt with immediately. We are definitely planning to go back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights at "Dam Good House". Because it is right beside the Lake Burton dam, there is not much boat traffic, except for fishermen. The home has warm tongue & groove paneling throughout. It is roomy, comfortable, and we liked having 4 bathrooms. Pluses were a clean well-stocked kitchen, 2 master bedrooms, and a nice outside deck. The easy walk down to the dock is exactly what we look for in a lakeside home. Another nice feature was the empty covered boat slip, which was a great place for a 22' deck-boat.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

We have stayed here several times. The property feels like home to us. It is warm, well appointed, fully equipped and simply immaculate. The location on the lake is perfect, modest traffic, great view, safe for the kids to swim and enjoy the water. We especially enjoy the many living areas. We can take our meals inside, on the covered porch or on the deck. The living room and bonus upstairs enable us to split adults and kids. 4 full baths, plenty of hot water means no standing in line or cold showers. Our family has had many great times and will be coming back again this year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Our visit to this lakehouse was one of our most memorable vacations. We went with two other families and could not believe how nice the house was and the dock space for the kids was excellant. The furnishings inside the house were very nice even though we spent most of our time outdoors. Every morning we went fishing and caught huge bass in the lake and the kids fished off the docks all day long. We later used the out door grills to cook our fish. Each night we all joined together for a great dinner and the seating was perfect to accomodate our large party. The house is located on a part of the lake that allows the kids to swim and jump off the docks without having any issues with other boaters. We were able to keep two boats at this location to use for water skiing. The neighbors were really nice and we even taught their children how to ski. This lake is one of the nicest lakes in Georgia for fishing and skiing. The owners were great to rent through and we are looking forward to visiting again this summer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
