Imagine enjoying the comfort and privacy of home in one of the most desirable and convenient locations in Portland. Come stay in our beautifully updated and spacious 1912 Craftsman bungalow and enjoy all Portland has to offer!
Our house is nestled within a friendly and safe neighborhood located just a short drive to the freeway allowing for convenient access to the airport (15 min.), downtown Portland (10 min.), and many other neighborhoods. Using public transportation around the city and to and from the airport is incredibly convenient as the Hollywood MAX (light rail) station and two major bus lines (#77 & #12) are located just a few blocks from our house. Enjoy short walks to the Hollywood Farmer’s Market, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Rite Aid, Hollywood Theater, and a variety of restaurants including brew pubs, coffee shops, family-friendly and fine dining.
We’ve focused on offering you the comforts of home with brand new queen-sized Serta pillow-top mattresses, quality pillows, and plush, cotton towels and sheets. You will actually get a good night’s sleep here! Our home offers 2 spacious bedrooms. The bathroom and fully stocked kitchen have been recently updated and are ready for a comfortable stay. Enjoy relaxing in our large living room, featuring classic architectural details, high ceilings, and lots of natural light. There is plenty of room on our sofa to sit back and enjoy a movie on the large flat-screen TV or to curl up with a good book.
We offer an extra fold out bed in the front room nook that will accommodate two guests, complete with bedding including sheets and a comforter. There is also room in either bedroom to set up your pack-n-play or portable crib (not provided).
The comfort of your stay in our home is very important to us. If you find that something you need is missing, please do not hesitate to contact us directly and we will do our best to provide it. We are also happy to provide you with additional information about the neighborhood and other attractions in Portland.

My family of four stayed at this Hollywood Bungalow for our week-long trip to Portland to visit friends. The location was perfect--friendly neighbors, quiet and beautiful neighborhood and close to everything. The house was clean and nicely set up for my husband and I and our 9 and 5 year old children. The owner was in great communication with us leading up to the trip, available during and even followed up after. I would recommend this house to any week or more travelers--better price and FAR better accommodations than a hotel. You can walk to the park or Trader Joes for groceries and it is 10 minutes away from downtown and all the big attractions.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at the Hollywood house for a week with my extended family. The rental was exactly as advertised. It was clean, well maintained, and had enough space for all of us to spread out. Parking in front of the house was easy. After we returned home, we realized we had left something behind. Jennifer went out of her way to help us get it back. We couldn't have asked for anything more!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

We found this adorable yet spacious house very comfortable and extremely well-appointed. The house was very clean and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided. We had everything we needed right down to the olive oil. The beds and linens were very comfortable and lovely as were the furnishings in the house. It is tastefully done with plenty of room for everyone and the owner's attention to detail and accommodation is evident. We really enjoyed our stay in this convenient, great little neighborhood and will stay there again when we return.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This was the perfect space for a holiday stay. Everything was so clean and in excellent condition. Had everything that was needed (towels, dishes, utensils, extra blankets, etc.) and was the perfect balance of home and rental. I really enjoyed the calming tea and bagels :)Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thanks Jen for providing a wonderful home for our Thanksgiving getaway. The updates to the house are very tasteful. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals etc and the electronic door entry was a nice touch. Things we LOVED: * The bath linens were A+++ * Driveway parking * Roomy and spacious * VERY clean and well kept * Quiet cozy neighborhood * Remote control ceiling fans w/lights * Working with Jen Things we would Change / Add or Bring Ourselves: * Bedside & Living Room Lamps (The house doesn't have any lights/lamps other than ceiling lights) * Additional bedside table in each room (each room currently has one) * The bed sheets did not match the quality of the bathroom linens or the other fine appointments of the home. Bottom Line: We'll be back. We really enjoyed the home and the things we suggested would NOT prevent us from returning. Fortunately, we live nearby (Seattle) and we can bring the aforementioned items in the future. Jen was great to work with and we had a GREAT trip! We stay in approximately 6+ VRBO properties a year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I have purchased luxury cotton sheets (450 thread count) and added a plusher cotton mattress pad to each bed. Also, lamps have been added to each bedside table and to the living room. The rooms already feel cozier and more comfortable than before. It was great to work with you too. I look forward to having you and your family stay again.

Thanks, Jen, for offering your great little bungalow for rental....so much more comfortable than a hotel! Your renovations are so tasteful. We lacked for nothing during our stay...even when the grandkids came over to spend the night! Appreciated being close to everything we needed and to entertainment.
