  Six ladies decided to get together and have our own little mini quilt retreat. After a lot of investigating we chose A Bandon Abandon. We have now completed our third retreat and the fourth is reserved. Each of us has always loved the home and feel that we are 'home'. The web site pictures are factual but unable to convey the true beauty of the home and the warm, open feel of it. Not to mention the beauty of the Pacific Ocean out many of the large picture windows. The home is well maintained and is above our expectations. Anything you could want is available in the well appointed kitchen with extras like seasonings etc in the pantry. If there are any questions, Michael, the owner or the housekeeper, who either initiates contact or whose number is clearly posted, is readily available by phone. This was my first time ever renting a place from someone over the internet and I was very sceptical but my fears were for nothing. Everything met or exceded our expectations and I would rent from Michael again (and we have).

  We used it for an executive style end-of-year retreat. We had a good time and liked the house. A team must be very close to be able to do this well. The bedroom situation is unique, so people need to share bathrooms and the downstairs is all one room so using the futon is an option only for people who are comfortable sharing a room. Each of us said we would like to come back with our families. For a 3 family gathering, it is perfect. The beach is beautiful. Short walk. The owners are very hospitable. Fun caves at the end of the beach. A really great spot. Kitchen was very usable for good cooks. We had a great time.

  Just got back from spending the week at this gorgeous property. It was the perfect central location for our family reunion; we had guests from California, eastern Oregon and the Pacific NW. At any given time, we had anywhere from 7 to 11 folks occupying the bedrooms. We also had other three other couples staying just down the road in one of two very convenient hotels. The house was easily large enough to entertain our group; we had family dinners on two occasions with at least 15 in attendance. But with the large dining table and extra seating at the kitchen bar we had no problem finding a seat for all. And the house was so convenient to the beach! Our beach walkers were out almost every day, and our kite flyer took advantage of the blustery fall days, too. When one of our walkers misjudged a creek crossing and came back soaked to the waist, the on-site laundry sure came in handy. And when three walkers ran into a storm and came back soaked to the skin, there was plenty of hot water for all three to take showers at the same time. We could not believe how well this house was equipped! We cooked many meals in the kitchen, and always found the correct pans and utensils available. Since we did have a large crowd, we brought disposable plate and utensils, but didn't need to use them since there was more than enough plates and silverware to accommodate us. We enjoyed many features of the home such as the gorgeous view, the extensive library of videos, wonderful tourist information, wireless internet, etc. One of the features we got a lot of use out of was the bar area. We used this area for staging all our wine, liquor, mixers and snacks. And it kept the snackers out of the kitchen! The bar fridge was a well-used and we loved the variety of wine glasses available. One of the best things about this house was the fact that the early-risers (or those who chose to stay up) late could gather in the living room without waking the rest of thee house. The bedrooms were comfortable and warm, and the number of TV's throughout the house was a nice surprise. We definitely look forward to staying at beautiful Bandon Abandon again!

  I have enjoyed many fall weekends at Bandon Abandon with my group for women friends. We love the view, location by the beach and close to Bandon for unique shopping and good food. Lots of room and private places as well as a large great room with cooking, dining and socializing places. Always clean, and pretty with everything there to be comfortable and at home. It is our favorite home away from home. Nothing compares for lots of space at a reasonable price.

  We found a Bandon Abandon on the internet when looking for a place on the Southern Oregon coast to hold a family reunion. As you might expect we were a little apprehensive on our first trip. When we arrived we found the home to be all that was described on the website and much more. We just returned from our 6th trip to Bandon and will be planning for another stay in the spring with friends. The home is very well stocked from bedding to dishes. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We especially like the three bedroom suits with baths that gives each couple a private space. The home includes 4 cable TV's, phones, a large DVD collection, books and magazines and WIFI service at no additional charge. Although the home sits about a block from the ocean, it still has a commanding view of the water. My wife especially loves the soft sounds of the sea at night. Michael, the owner, has always been responsive and I consider him more a friend than the owner. I would caution, however, that this home is a Tri-level and it does have stairs. I would recommend this home to anyone considering a stay in Bandon Oregon.

  A bandon abandon is a huge, well equipped comfy home for a large group of adults or multiple families. It is literally seconds from the beach and minutes from old town bandon. The house has everything you could need to have a relaxing time, including a fully equipped kitchen. Even if the weather is crummy, this home provides the perfect escape for a bunch of people. Had so much fun!

  We were looking for a place for our annual 4 day fishng trip on the Coquille. I found aBandon on VRBO and contacted Michael about the rental. He was a pleasure to talk to and answered all my questions. We booked the house for 3 nights and enjoyed ourselfs. Wonderful kitchen and pantry, bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the view was awesome. We would recommend this property. The listing was accurate, pictures represented the home accuratey, and the house was clean and well maintained. Bandon is a great place to visit with some thing for everyone to do. Golf, fishing, shopping and of course some walks on the beach.

  We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this spacious house. Five bedrooms allowed plenty of room for our large party. The kitchen is fully stocked and ideal for making jam. Great proximity to beautiful beach and horse stables. Quiet and relaxing!

  There is not a better 4BR+ house (this one has 5) in this price range. The house is well laid out - plenty of space on three floors, great rooms, and very well appointed and stocked. No matter what we needed (we cooked in several times), it was there. Convenient to so much, including the beautiful beach (you're already there), Bandon, many parks, golf courses, dunes, etc. And the owners and caretakers are very accomodating, accessbile, and friendly. Hope we are fortunate enough to make the trip back soon. Thank you for a great stay and great memories.

  We have been staying in beach rentals up and down the Oregon coast for the past 20 years and this house rates #1 in comfort. This house is very comfortable and spacious. It has it all. Its a easy walk to the beach and horse stables. The championship golf course (Bandon Dunes) fishing and shopping is also nearby. The owner is extremely easy to work with. Always aiming to please.
