Modern, 1990 saltbox built on top of mountain-top. Its view of Big Squam and the Squam Range (including Chocorua) is magnificent. A 42 foot deck and oversized windows face the lake and mountains. A large living room with a woodstove, dining room (with table that seats eight), and spacious kitchen make entertaining easy.
In addition, there is a downstairs bedroom(queen size bed) with full bath. Upstairs are three bedrooms(one w/queen, one w/set of twin beds, one w/single bed), two full baths, and a "common room," a place to watch television and relax. Large sky lights and windows make this an excellent place to read or enjoy the view!
The house is located on a half mile driveway set on undeveloped land. Gardens and grass lawns (informal) surround the house. It is a piece of heaven! Lake access is four miles from home. Canoe and sunfish provided with rental.
New Hampshire's autumn season with its colors is spectacular! Squam Lake continues to be a place for boating and swimming while nearby towns offer county fairs in September and October. The Squam Range and the White Mountains invite hikers and others to see their unparalleled views. No matter the season, Squam Lake is a spectacular location to spend time.
