  ... are much preferable to winter in the UK! My wife and I stayed at Absolute Paradise with our friends as part of my 50th birthday celebrations and had a really great time. Both Stu and Michelle were very responsive and booking was clear and straighforwards. The property was spotlessly clean on arrival and the welcoming candies and bottle of wine together with the basket of things in the bathroom (that included spare toothbrushes, mini anti-pespirants, shower caps and the like) were a very nice and thoughtful touch. The photos accurately reflect the layout and the home was well equipped with all the things you needed for cooking both indoors and out. The screened patio area was great for eating in the evening when the no see-ums were showing greatest interest in pale UK skin types(!) but the best part of the property was the spacious decking area with the corner plot offering comfortable seating, sun chairs and a hammock for drifting off in the warm South Florida sun. Unfortunately the above ground pool was out of action whilst we were there (broken pump) but as we had left our kids in the UK this wasn't too big a deal. Fishing off the dock was fun too and we rented the boat for few days to explore the surrounding waters which allowed the 4 of us to watch a beautiful sunset all to ourselves in the Cove whilst enjoying a bottle of fizz. We then rounded off the evening on return with cocktails in the hot tub - a great night! The stars of the water, however, were the manatees and to see them up close was a great experience(although we also enjoyed the regular woodpecker visits throughout the day!) We also made good use of the reliable WiFi (including a live Skype session of the manatees for our daughter back in the UK - see, we're good parents really!) and although the phone line was out of action during our stay it didn't affect us at all. Neighbours and passing boats-people were unfailingly friendly and Key Largo was reasonably well served with restaurants on the main highway with a well stocked Publix and numerous bait/fishing tackle shops within a 5 minute drive. Finally, my wife accidently left behind a jewellery bag but Stu and Michelle very helpfully tracked it down and sent it on to us in the UK which summed up their helpful approach - Thanks! All in all a really relaxing, good value for money, stay.

  We traveled to Miami for business and took a few days to visit Key Largo before heading back to California. We had never been to Florida before so this was an exciting time for us. Absolute Paradise met all my expectations and then some! The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing under the tiki hut and taking a cool dip after a hot day in the bay! Stu was very accommodating and makes sure you are comfortable with all the amenities covered! We will look forward to our next trip to Key Largo and will definitely stay at Absolute Paradise again!!

  My family and I had a great time at absolute paradise, it was the most fun we have had in a long time. Stu was really nice and gave us tons of info of places around, it was a mini vacay as we live in miami but we will definitley be back. This place is a gem and soooo cute, it has everything you need. Just go!

  Thanks so much for the fabulous place to call home for our stay in the Keys! We absolutely loved it and had a great time. The daily visits from the manatees were incredibly cool. We had porpoises swimming next to our boat, watched the beautiful sunsets from the water and fished right off the dock. We hope to be back again someday.

  Absolute Paradise gets high marks for its amenities that include a hot tub, TIKI bar , outdoor dining and a lounging area. That, along with very comfortable sleeping accommodations, a modern kitchen and pretty living room made for a wonderful stay. Sara

  We can’t say enough about how much we loved this gem. The biggest problem with the place is that it is too hard to leave? Starting and ending days in the Jacuzzi, using Wi-Fi while swinging in the hammock under the amazing Tiki (equipped with fans and mood lighting), swimming in the pool, playing with the Manatees, boating around the Bay for breathtaking sunsets, and not to mention just hanging out in the cozy home itself, made our vacation truly wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped and every piece of furniture in the place is comfortable. The owners are trustworthy and good people who really do everything they can to ensure your stay is a good one. We hope to return to the Keys someday soon and there is no doubt that we will be staying at Absolute Paradise! Thank you Michelle, Jordan and Stu?

  We stayed at Absolute Paradise in July 2012! What a great time we had! We spent a week there with our daughter and grand children. The home was clean and comfortable. We all enjoyed the boat, dock, pool and tiki hut. The best part was a special visitor...a gator...compliments of Stu!! Our family time together was terrific!! A much needed time to rest, relax and have fun !! We are planning on returning again this spring or summer! Can't wait!!!

  This was our 4th stay at Stu,s place, and as good if not better than our previous visits. Lots of manatees again, and weather perfect. Couple of minor unavoidable issues due to flooding following SANDY, which Stu swiftly dealt with. Fishing was good and we made good use of the boat again. This was the latest in the year that we have been to the keys and the fishing seemed to be better than on previous ccassions. Stu has made a few improvements, i.e. new/upgraded hot tub, new bigger pool, new TV, new washer dryer etc. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Stu! Thanks Stu, you,re always on hand and just a phone call away if needed. It was a pleasure to meet your boys, they,re a real credit to you. Home now to a cold Scottish winter, and looking forward to our next vist!!

• ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

  This place and owner were more than ANYONE could ever begin to expect. We had a little issue with water because of SANDY, but STU (and Jake) made the ABSOLUTE best of the situation. The actual set up of the house was perfect for us...my husband and I and our 22 year old daughter and 2 of her dearest friends. Kitchen was perfect for cooking in and the Tiki Bar and Deck were enjoyed. Also, we had MANATEE's come right up to us!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have an awesome time and who wants to be treated fairly. Stu, you are an exceptional host and you ABSOLUTELY made our vacation even more fun than we imagined!!!

  We stayed at Absolute Paradise with our two young children and two dogs. Although we unfortunately had to leave early due to a family emergency, our brief stay couldn't have been better. So much is packed into this home. Our children had nonstop fun fishing from the dock, playing in the pool, paddleboating, and of course cruising on the pontoon boat. Everything was clean and comfortable. We look forward to another stay. Highly recommended!
