Newly renovated, 4 bedroom, 2 bath lake cottage with a huge screened in back porch. The highlight of this house is the beautiful view and deep water lake access, with a boardwalk from house to the large stationary and floating dock. MB features a king size bed with an attached full bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and a toddler bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed (twin on twin) and two futon twin mattresses. Great location for visiting family, relaxing, playing, or just stopping through. No matter what the season, there’s always something to do!

My wife and I thouroughly enjoyed our 6 week stay at this lovely lakefront home on Lake Murray. We found the home to be as presented in the listing photos. It is a very well maintained, cutely decorated, and fully appointed. Having onsite washer/dryer, new HD TV's and wireless Internet are all reflective of the care and thought the owners put in to this unit. The house was impeccably clean when we arrive. The kitchen and baths are fully appointed. Every imaginable appliance, dish, cookware and utensil is provided. The owners are lovely, helpful folks who responded quickly and completely to the minor questions we had. We enjoyed the neighborhood, as it is easy to walk; and close to Chapin shopping and restaurants. We certainly recommend this outstanding property to others seeking a relaxing, well-appointed vacation getaway.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had an amazing time vacationing at your Lake Home! We had a mini reunion with family and friends on the 4th of July! We smoked pork hams and made homemade barbque. We had a great time doing this with our family. We also loved the ducks and geese, they visited every morning. Of course we love the lake, we grew up coming here. The only negative is you have snooty neighbors but we didnt pay them any attention. I would come back and tried to book the property for july 4th week but it was taken. I was so bummed. Thanks for letting us enjoy your lovely home and hope you will have us back. Our family of 2 adults and 2 teens had plenty of private space with plenty to spare. The home is very clean, updated and well stocked. The sunrise and sunset were the highlights of the day. Cooking out on the charcoal grill, roasting marshmallows, cooking breakfast in the kitchen, baking cookies in the oven... All things we were able to do with ease. The kitchen, living and dining area is great for family time as they are all connected. Nice long breakfast bar. The chalkboard wall was a neat feature that we all used for fun! Great neighborhood to walk through and extremely friendly neighbors. The foliage was nice to see too! We even caught a fish off the dock on the last night there! Grocery stores are close by and convenient. Great information was provided in the rental for local attractions, restaurants, church's, etc... Looking forward to our next get-away!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is one of the best homes we have ever had the pleasure of renting at Lake Murray. The communication with the property owners was great and the property was exactly as described. It was clean, nicely furnished and had a great open floor plan and screen porch. My only hesitation in writing this review is that too many people will find out about the house and it won't be available for our next vacation! Will definitely be booking additional weekends in 2013!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are originally from Chapin. Both my husband I grew up here and graduated from Chapin High School. We now live in NC, but we love Lake Murray, and we enjoy coming back to visit with family and friends.
