plenty of space for family gatherings or a quiet time for couples. Nice to have hot tub ocean front, nice to have DVD players in each room and ocean front balcony's off of several bedrooms.

Wonderful floor plan and location. Loved the 3 floors / bedrm / bath configuration to give privacy, as well as family time. The BEST stocked kitchen of any rental. Loved cooking in and enjoying family time. Right on the beach. Great hot tub. Conscientious and thoughtful owner, who helped us prepare for our first trip to the area. Elevator was very helpful. Our first trip to Topsail. Will enjoy returning to this wonderful rental in the summer sometime.

Excellent Accomodations!

This duplex was excellent for Our Marines Homecoming after a 9 month deployment!! Veronica is fantastic to work with & was very accommodating with our dates. (date of son's homecoming changed several times!) The duplex is fantastic, well equiped & exactly as described. We have stayed at other units at North Topsail but this duplex is definitely our favorite. The kitchen has everything you need...cooked alot of the Marine's favorite meals & had everything needed. Elevator opens at kitchen which helps when moving in/moving out!! Views are fabulous from every balcony....enjoyed seeing the dolphins & beautiful sunsets/sunrise. Pier is very close. Enjoyed & loved the hot tub. Beds are made & ready for your arrival & very comfortable...most places at North Topsail require you to make your own beds!! (I hate making beds after driving 8-9 hours!) Highly recommend for an unforgettable family vacation or reunion! PS: Ask Veronica about white meat/dark meat!! Lol! (cute story!)

We just left this beautiful place. Veronica's home was more than we expected. To have those comfy beds already made was one of my favorites. Did not do much cooking but a look around the kitchen it looked very well stocked. What a great week! The weather was a little cool but not enough to keep us off the beach. I certainly hope to return to Veronica's again. A very nice and accommodating lady. She insist that all you do is relax and have a good time.

this was my 4th stay at Veronica's beautiful home on North Topsail Island. As past experience with this wonderful property , I knew a a great vacation was in store for me and my extended family. As has been the norm in the past, amenities galore, tastefully decorated and the perfect spot on this stretch of beach keeps me coming back year after year. Thanks Veronica for everything you have done to make our stay(s) the best I could have hoped for. You will be seeing me and my family again soon.

Great Week at Topsail

Veronica, we have just returned from staying at your home at Topsail this past week and I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had. Your home was very cozy, and we could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. The house was furnished nicely, everything our party of 6 needed was there. The seniors in our group especially appreciated the elevator in your home. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the back deck, enjoying the rising sun, and watching at the trawlers going up the beach. We stayed at this beach house when we welcomed home our son from Afghanistan after an 11 month deployment. The house and all of the listing photos were exactly as shown. We used the kitchen extensively because I wanted to celebrate all of the holidays that our son had missed! We did all of the Patriotic holidays, Birthdays, Valentines' Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and even Groundhogs' Day! The kitchen was wonderful...fully stocked with dinnerware, cooking utensils and glassware. We enjoyed the hot tub, even though it was in February, it felt good to us. Off season was quiet, which we personally enjoyed. We slept on the upper floor with the sound of waves coming in the balcony sliding glass door. What a wonderful way to go to sleep AND wake-up! Veronica was eager to please us, as we did not know our exact timing, but when it became apparent as to when we needed housing, she was sweet to extend our time. The child seat and pack 'n play was a God-send for our 11 month old grand daughter. And we used the washer and dryer almost daily! (it is nice to go home with clean clothes!) I would and have recommended this property and hope to make use of it again someday. For now we have the memories made here and they are fond memories, for sure!

Wonderful retreat for family!!

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving week in Veronica's beach front home. It was exactly as described and the pictures really don't do it justice. The layout was perfect, the bedrooms were roomy and spead out. Many of the bedrooms had baths directly off of them which meant we weren't running into each other all the time and we had privacy! We had family in at different times during the week and never felt crowded. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and we even cooked a large Thanksgivng meal with all the trimmings. The elevator and King bedroom with private bath off the kitchen were both huge helps with my elderly mother so she never had to do any stairs. The Oceanfront views from the kitchen and living area are breathtaking. The deck was wonderful with the hot tub and private walkway to the beach. Even though we had neighbors in Veronica's unit next door we never heard them and only saw them in passing to the beach. The weather was fantastic, the shelling was amazing, and the sunrise/sunsets were awesome! We ate at several great restaurants including Rick's, Sears Landing and Thai Grille. Veronica also had a Food Lion VIP card that made grocery shopping easy!! Veronica really has thought of everything and was extremely easy to work with. We will be back!!!

Wonderful property for a family getaway!

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving week in Veronica's duplex. "Duplex" does not do it justice. It had a better layout and more space than most single family homes at Topsail we've stayed at. We are big into cooking so the kitchen and dining layout was key. There was nothing we needed, even for a large Thanksgiving dinner for 8. The hottub overlooking the beach and right off the dining room was absolutely perfect for after dinner starlit soaks. The beach is beautiful and easily accesible via the private walkway. We had neighbors in the adjoining duplex, but never heard them at all unless we passed them outside on the beach walk. The abolsute BEST thing about this property is the bedroom layout. With the bedrooms spread out on 3 floors and multiple master suites, there was no arguing over who got which room and we were spread out enough not to hear mom and dad snoring! I LOVED being on the top floor....it was my own private getaway complete with gorgeous view of the ocean from the bed and balcony. The only thing I wish I had known in advance was that the community pool is not open off-season. The kids were pretty disappointed especially as we had temperatures in the 70s. I would definately recommend this property.

My family and extended family vacationed the week after Labor Day. There were 8 of us and the accomodations more than met our needs. We have been going to Topsail for the past 17 yrs and this was truly a great place to stay. The description of the property was well described and exceeded most of our expectations. The elevator only went up 1 floor which was a bit disappointing as this was a detail we wanted. It is quite a trek to the top bedroom. The pictures were a fair assessment of the property also. The property was well maintained but the cleaning was not the best. The beds and bedding were extremely nice. The owner was extremely helpful during the lease process and had a lot of useful information and instructions. She was available and answered all questions and was very helpful all through the process. I would very much recommend this property to others and would rent the property again. The hot tube was great and worked well. Most houses we have rented do not keep them maintained as well. There were only a couple of issues but this is probably just from the week to week wear. The grill was very filthy but we were informed that it may be and the guests should properly clean it. We did clean it and we did leave it better than we found it. Also, my family pretty much spends all our time at the house and prepare most of our meals. I would like to have seen better cookware, but again we came after the summer and I am sure the wear takes it toll. The proximity to the beach was great. The beach and water was great and the shells were extra good. Overall a great and relaxing week.

we stayed here June 11-18, 2011. the house was everything promised, the ocean front is perfect. we watched dolphins every day. the kitchen is well equipped as promised. we had 11 family members and plenty of room ( and hot water for showers.). we would rent this house again!. nice beach,not crowded.

Ideal location and well cared for home

(We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children, ages 2 and 4.) The home is ideally located beachfront and steps from the fishing pier. Our 4 year old son had a great time at the pier chatting with locals and fishing for the first time with the help of the pier operators. The area is very quiet and serene even considering it is a duplex, we never heard our neighbors. Three of the bedrooms face the ocean and all were very generously sized. Though it feels away from it all, you're a 10 min drive from a grocery and 15-20 min from restaurants farther south on the coast. Veronica has thought of many details including beach chairs, sand toys and high chair for children. The large dining room table inside as well on the one on the deck made for wonderful family meals. We had a small issue with the door and she had a repair man out the very next morning to make the fix. This is a great property overall and I would highly recommend to others!!

Wonderful Vacation

We had such a wonderful time at Topsail Beach! The house was magnificent. We all had plenty of room and the views of the ocean were spectacular. Our 2 year old woke up that first morning, sat up in bed and said, "Look Mommy it's the ocean!" She was so excited! Our five year old, who never wants to sleep in another bed away from us when we go on vacation, ran to the bedroom with the deep pink accents and said, "Mommy this is a perfect room for me." The girls loved that we could walk right out the back door to the beach. In fact, it was very hard to get them back inside. The kitchen was very well stocked. We made a wonderful seafood dinner one night, and a huge breakfast one morning. Most of the time when you go on vacation, it's very difficult to cook meals at the house, but you've done such a wonderful job! It was definitely a cookers' dream. We all felt so comfortable being at the beach house, we were all sad to leave. We left our vacation with so many family memories, shells, and even a few shark's teeth. Our daughter brought them back to show all of her friends at school! Thank you again! We had such a wonderful time!

Veronica, Thanks for being so accommodating with our last minute travels. Our adult daughter and her husband got offered a job out of state and at the last minute we pulled off a vacation with a week full of wonderful memories at your beautiful place. I would recommend your place to anyone and we plan to come back next year. Several of our friends have asked for your website. Shopping in Jacksonville, Wilmington, golfing, shell collecting and watching the dolphins were some of our highlights. The jacuzzi was fun right on our deck during the day and at night. The best was just walking the beach each morning and evening as we watched the sun rise and set. Your place is very clean and well maintained. I had a few concerns; but you ALWAYS called back right away and answered all my questions. Thanks for helping us make a wonderful family vacation! We had a party of 13 and it was not too crowded! Wonderful Thanksgiving Vacation

My extended family spent the week of Thanksgiving at Veronica's home. The home was as described and pictured and was very comfortable. We had extened family, however, there was room for everyone and and everyone had a place te retreat if they liked. The home is clean and well kept and the beach was beautiful. Veronica provides everything you could need from beach chairs to kitchen equipment. We had a wonderfultime hanging out at the beach but also took advantage of the USS North Carolina and our whole family particip[ated in the Wilmington Turkey Trot Thanksgiving morning. We had fantastic weather for Thanksgiving (70s and sunny most days). Would reccomend this home to other familys, and we hope to return soon!

This was the perfect house for our family to spend together right up to our son's deployment. Everything we needed was available - a perfect, fully stocked kitchen with every gadget imaginable so I could prepare easily all of our meals, comfortable beds and right on the beach for wonderful views and relaxation! The hot tub was enjoyed by all every evening. We were close to base and grocery shopping was not too far away at all. Veronica was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. We'll be back!

Our family (4 couples) stayed in this lovely home in October 2009. The kitchen was absolutely wonderful in that Veronica had equipped it with any item you would ever need. It was also so nice to have all the linens furnished with the rental and to have all the beds made when you arrived. All you need to take is your clothes. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Veronica, our visit to Topsail Island this past October was wonderful and we especially enjoyed staying in your beautiful, well-equipped and furnished home. We found it to be exactly as you represented. The location, along with the weather, was terrific and it was so very comfortable there. We especially enjoyed many great nights’ sleep on the upscale linens and wonderful beds. What luxury.Over the years, we try to have at least one annual vacation with long-time friends from Ohio and usually agree each family will provide one “home cooked” meal. As a precaution, this involves bringing any special cookware and/or utensils unique to the meal. None of these were required in your generously stocked kitchen (by the way, we’ve never experienced such a quiet dishwasher). We actually had some other friends come over from Raleigh to join us for a few days. Your home accommodated the three families with room to spare. All three couples give your Topsail home a thumbs up rating and would highly recommend it to anyone for a wonderful “home away from home” vacation. We found several very nice places to eat, such as Daddy Mac’s Beach Grille and Beauchaines, both of which were just down the highway in Surf City. An interesting spot with great seafood was just north of the house and adjacent to the pier--Sea View Fishing Pier & Restaurant. The décor isn’t the greatest, but the friendliness of the owners and other customers along with the delicious shrimp and scallops made it worth the visit.We appreciate your excellent communication from when we first made our reservation to after we returned home finding we had left a few items behind. Thanks for taking care of getting them back to us and thank you to both you and Mitch for opening up your lovely home to strangers. We would certainly recommend your Topsail home to others and are actually considering a return for our group or possibly a family reunion.

Thank you Veronica! We vacationed in your home Sept. 08 and agreed we would love to come back every year. We had hoped to find a quiet, family-friendly beach and a home comfortable for our family of 7. Your home was just beautiful. Our children were thrilled to have so much room. The kitchen was well set up for me to prepare large meals for us all. The only downside was that the grill was not functioning.

Our vacation at Veronica's home was fabulous. I admit that I had some reservations about the home actually being the way it was pictured, but it was beautiful and user friendly. We all had a great time. The elevator was a life saver for my elderly mother and for the rest of us who were stair challenged. The elevator went to the first level and then there are stairs to the second and third levels. The stairs and bedrooms are carpeted and the remainder of the flooring is tiled or wood. This made it easy to keep down on the sand. The home was comfortable and the beds were luxurious to sleep in. There was ample room for our entire family and all our gear, and with 3 small children you have to bring alot. The second day, Veronica called to make sure that we were settled in and that everything was alright. The house is actually steps from the beach and only a short walk to the pier. Three of the bedrooms had oceanside balconies with comfortable seating. The other bedrooms had nice views of the sound. The entire residential area on the ocean side of intercoastal bridge was very upscale and clean. We always felt safe and there were routine patrols noted by the local authorities. Everyone that we came in contact with were very friendly. We went body surfing, shelling, crabbing and walking on the beach. We found several nice shells and some shark teeth. The little ones loved playing in the clean sand and running from the "waves". We had brought their bikes and they took advantage of the nearby bike path. Everyone enjoyed the community pool which was never overcrowded. The local souvenier spot 'Shark Attack' was fun for everyone. The grocery store, gas stations, fast food, and restaurants were easy to get to and not very far away. There is adequate paved parking. The area is quite private. The beaches hardly had anyone on them. The weather was great. The birds were at a minimum which is a plus when on the beach. The noise level was at a minimum. No noise noted in bedrooms and minimal noise from adjoining side of duplex. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a great vacation in this price range. Hey Veronica,We repeat every positive, exciting, memorable sentiment that you have received. It is with great pleasure that we tell you our family had an incredible vacation. The Casey’s want to whole heatedly recommend this home for a getaway! Before we had secured our vacation location, our oldest son had planned our trip. That’s how we found your home and quit frankly we didn't get to do all that was planned. We hated to leave your home! But we did adventure out on different days and did some really cool stuff. So here we go -- try lunch at Hell's Kitchen in Wilmington and then head to the Aquarium. Go watch the bridge turn from the park and then plan to eat dinner at Baked Up in Surf City. And probably the most special for my wife and me was Shag dancing at Margaritas on Wednesday's. All easy to find and all unbelievable. But as good as all these were, and they were good, the house was the most amazing! One more story before I go. Its one that I can tell my grandkids and have proof it happened. My three boys and I played some soccer on the beach. In the heat of battle and good sportsmanship, I will forever have a trophy ---my north topsail beach big toe -- long story but a great memory and wouldn't trade it for the world! Oh yeah it made the wife and mother-in-law who were relaxing on the beach grin hard!Great Times!!!!!!

We really enjoyed our October 20-25 vacation here. The weather was 70s during the day and cool at nights. We have three young children (4, 3, and 1) and they were in hog heavan. We were steps from the beach and chairs and tons of beach toys were available. Wind was steady and kite flying was great. The kitchen was really incredible...every implement imaginable and I cooked every meal there. Beautiful home and beach. My son had a major tantrum when we had to leave! I'd definitely stay again.

Veronica ~ I can't say enough kind things about how wonderful our family vacation at your lovely home was. We stayed from April 26 thru May 3rd...and it was the most peaceful, relaxing wonderful vacation we've ever had. Our son James had such a good time playing with his cousin Mackenzie..they were as happy as any two five year old could be playing in the surf, digging in the sand and exploring up and down the beach for "magic shells". I got to do what I love doing, cook really good meals in your wonderful kitchen! It was so nice to step out the front door and see the beach..we went to sleep to the sound of the ocean each night. I actually got to read two books..I can't tell you when I've had the time to just sit and read. As the week progressed we all had nothing but wonderful things to say about your home and our stay. Even when I had a question about something, you were right there to answer me and solve the problem. I appreciate your friendly corespondance, and I can assure you we will be back, maybe even next year! Also, thank you for mailing me the clothes left in the dryer...I can't beleive I did such a goofy thing, but it was so sweet of you to offer to mail them to me...If anyone asks me if I can recommend a place to go with their family's to just relax and get to know each other again, I will always name your beach house first, thank you again!

This home was SUPERB and FABULOUS, our entire family loved it and it was one of the best vacations that we have ever had.his was the first time that we had looked into a private home, as we often use our timeshare, but we really wanted to have a beach vacation. When we discovered the jewel of topsail we were very excited, but I was overwhelmed with a lot of the choices. I also had terrible customer service whenever I tried to call different realtors about properties. We have a daughter with Cystic Fibrosis, and I need to know that our accomodations are going to truly be CLEAN and SMOKE FREE. Finding Veronica over the internet was such an answer to prayer. She was a pleasure to talk with, and I could tell immediately her love for her home and also the desire to allow people to vacation the way she would like to. Knowing the attention to detail that she had given. To have all of our beds made was worth it alone after driving for 10 hours with 4 children! The views were spectacular, not having any smokey residual smell, and knowing that the hot tub had fresh, clean water in it, made us just feel so much at home. Also I loved the location of the unit in comparison to the pool. At first I thought we would want to be close to the pool, but the more I thought about it I realized that with the pool would come a lot of noise. I was surprised how little my kids actually went to the pool because they had so much fun in the ocean! It was nice to be able to have it available but it was also nice to be away on the private end of all the units, where you are closest to the pier. The first night sitting out under the stars in the hot tub with my husband is a memory I think of every night I look up at the stars from PA. We definately DID not want to leave, and hit regular life as the haven that Veronica has put together just took us away to total relaxation. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is looking. If you are worried about pricing, and you want to go with some discount home, DON'T DO IT! Why have a miserable vacation where you have to complain to someone that doesn't even own the home or has the time to care, instead of paying to truly have a home away from home. It is worth EVERY PENNY, you will NOT REGRET IT. Also any problems that you may have, Veronica is always available to help you out. This home was SUPERB and FABULOUS, our entire family loved it and it was one of the best vacations that we have ever had.his was the first time that we had looked into a private home, as we often use our timeshare, but we really wanted to have a beach vacation. When we discovered the jewel of topsail we were very excited, but I was overwhelmed with a lot of the choices. I also had terrible customer service whenever I tried to call different realtors about properties. We have a daughter with Cystic Fibrosis, and I need to know that our accomodations are going to truly be CLEAN and SMOKE FREE. Finding Veronica over the internet was such an answer to prayer. She was a pleasure to talk with, and I could tell immediately her love for her home and also the desire to allow people to vacation the way she would like to. Knowing the attention to detail that she had given. To have all of our beds made was worth it alone after driving for 10 hours with 4 children! The views were spectacular, not having any smokey residual smell, and knowing that the hot tub had fresh, clean water in it, made us just feel so much at home. Also I loved the location of the unit in comparison to the pool. Dear Mrs. Muehring, This place was wonderful!!!! We enjoyed so much every moment we were there. Coffee, a deck, and a sunrise over the pier was a wonderful way to start the day. My daughter had just gotten home from Iraq, and we got there and unpacked before she came home that evening. She found the place while she was there in Iraq and this was her countdown to coming home! She got the top floor and was just able to relax and enjoy some time with our family and friends. Thank you so much. Every picture and description was exactly what we got. We got fresh shrimp and grilled out. We saw dolphins, and even the one morning of rain just didn't seem so bad. The furnishings and decor just made us feel so welcome. We felt like this was the best vacation we had had as a family in many years. We would love to rent again in the spring when our second daughter comes home. We couldn't have asked for better accomodations. Thank you again for your help and your care and concern for my daughter while she was in Iraq. We will definitely come back. We just spent the week of Sept 29th to Oct 6th in "Veronica" heaven. Thankyou for letting our family create a lifetime of wonderful memories in your home. Our family came together to welcome home our Grandson after his second tour to Iraq. Everything in your home was perfect. From the beds to the view, the hot tub to the kitchen. Oh did I mention the elevator? Since I am still recovering from knee surgery, I loved the elevator. We all were sad when it was time to leave. But we will be back, since we know where "home" is. Our vacation at Topsail was in Aug 25th for the week. Myself and my son, my mother, and also my sister's family stayed at the lovely home.My brother and his wife also was able to join us. It was my nephew's 16th birthday gift from me to him. He stayed in the "penthouse". He was totally blown away. He loved the elevator to the third floor, and his own private fireplace. My sister who loves to cook (thank god) loved the kitchen. We stayed at many rentals, and she stated that this rental had the most kitchen equipment out of any other place that we stayed. I love that the beds were so comfortable. Some vacation homes, I think buy the cheapest beds that could be found. But these beds were great. You really could get a great night sleep. We just spent 5/26-6/2/2007 in Topsail. Veronica and her family were vacationing beside us. They are a phenominal family! We are very blessed to have met them. They were friendly, but respectful of our privacy. We just happened to have our vacation week coincide. They are a dream to rent from! The house is perfect. We shared it with my husband's parents, 2 aunts, uncle, 2 adult chidlren and 2 young teenagers. There was ample room; the privacy level is awesome. The walls are so well insulated we heard very little noise from other rooms. We heard no noise from other units. The first and second floors are controlled by individual thermostats, so the temperature was comfortable for everyone. The bedding is absolutely dreamy! We all slept very comfortably. We all want to go back and highly recommend the rental property to others. You'll love it as well.

We have two words for this home and Veronica....Absolutely fabulous! We celebrated our parents 50th Anniversary at this home and absolutely loved it. The attention to even the smallest detail was amazing. We had the most relaxing week at the beach.... so much so that we are planning on coming back next year! Dave, Julie, Jen and Chelsea were great neighbors. We found wonderful shells and just enjoyed the quiet of this beach. Relax, relax, relax... that was what we did. We had a wonderful time spending a week in this home. The view was amazing and it was wonderful to just walk down to the beach. The home was beautifully furnished and had lots of "extras". We definitely would recommend the house to anyone looking for an upscale vacation rental. We enjoyed cooking our meals, spending time in the hot tub, collecting sea shells, fishing, and just hanging out together.

We were lucky to find Veronica's Topsail Island retreat for our annual New Year's Eve weekend getaway. It was everything it promised to be and more! The furnishings are plush and soothing, the mattresses are ultra comfortable, and the views extraordinary! We were fortunate to meet Veronica and Mitch and their boys, as they were using the other side of the house the same week. We brought 2 boys of our own and the majority of the trip the door between the units was open to allow the boys access from one side to the other so they could play together. They had the best time! As did we. Veronica is so classy and fun, which shows in the way she decorated her house. We had a great time getting to know their family. For cooks, the kitchen is stocked with appliances. For fishing aficionados, the pier is 300 yards away. For those looking to relax, there are decks on each level with adirondack chairs for relaxing and reading a book. We love the fact that there are two distinct master bedrooms, which is great for when more than one couple stays (who wants to have to share a hall bath?) But thereare clearly 4 rooms that have ADULT beds. Which is such a nice feature, as our children grow up they will surely grow out of bunk beds. Each bedroom is decorated differently but all in a very upscale manner; think Pottery Barn with a touch of Restoration Hardware and Bombay Company. So too are the kitchen utensils and amenities. All appliances, pots, plates, etc are nice enough to serve a first class dinner fitting of the house and its surroundings. No ugly, chipped, mismatched plates, cups, and wine glasses here! We will book every vacation to Topsail to stay at Veronica's house from now on. There's not a house in this price range that can compete. Thanks for everything! We're looking forward to staying again and seeing you all again! Happy New Year!

Our family of 11 stayed at Veronica's house from June 17-24. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was going to be a great place to relax for a week and we knew we made the right decision. Veronica's attention to detail, cleanliness, and luxury furnishings made us feel comfortable and welcome. There was plenty of room for all of us, and we never felt crowded. Most of the family ate in a lot, and everything needed to prepare meals was there. There can't be more comfortable bedding anywhere. We were even looking at the sheets to find out where to get them! Veronica supplies everyting needed for relaxing at the beach as well, so no need to pack/buy extra items. Look hard and you will find some black shark teeth. The weather was perfect, and all of the neighbors were extremely friendly (even the family from Austin, TX - tough to stomach when you are Buckeye fans!). We used the pool and hot tub every day. Renting directly from Veronica made the entire process smooth and worry-free. We will definitely rent one of her properties again. Customer satisfaction is her number one priority!

Our family celebrated our annual spring break vacation at Veronica's beautiful beach home this year, staying for two glorious weeks in mid-April. We were all extremely pleased with the many thoughtful amenities that were present. With four children, three under the age of nine months, we soon discovered that the pack and play, booster chair, beach toys, and quiet bedroom areas were a much appreciated benefit, allowing the babies to feel at home and the mommies a no stress vacation! The beach was beautiful and the weather perfect. Resting was easy in the seriously comfortable beds and all three family groups felt as if they had a private area at night, a feature not yet experienced in any other place that we have vacationed. Pots and pans galore made our decision to eat most meals in an easy task to accomplish. We did, however, get take out from the Green Turtle in Snead's Ferry and it was the absolute best!! Golfing at the nearby Country Club was a fine diversion, the hot tub much used by all ages, and the fishing pier a fun and friendly place. Anything that you might need is easily found on the Island or just over the bridge. Everyone we met was extremely friendly, even the bagger at the Food Lion, who juggled groceries for the benefit of our 16 year old granddaughter. Not one of us wanted to leave Veronica's! She was most gracious and so helpful in every way, ensuring that our stay was perfectly stellar. Thank you so much! We had a fabulous time!

Our spring break stay at Veronica's house April 15-22, 2006 was superb. The weather, beach, house, and scenery were outstanding. Our family of five had an awesome week. The kids - ages 8,7, and 3 made friends with the neighbors and enjoyed watching the fisherman on the pier, dolphin in the morning, shelling, hot tub soaks, golf at nearby North Shore CC, & many fine dinners looking out over the ocean. Our family has rented numerous houses in the outer banks for years and decided to try North Topsail. Veronica's house stands out above the rest as far as decor, comfort, cleanliness, & detail. We loved her extra touches in the kitchen & bedrooms. Her added amenities including beach chairs, toys, & grill were clean & brand new. When traveling with kids, it is a truly a pleasure to have all of the comforts of home. Veronica goes above & beyond customer service and delivers a superb vacation at a great value. Our family was happy & satisfied. We look forward to a return visit. The kids grow so fast, these kind of memories last forever - Thanks Veronica!

Our family stayed at Veronica's beautiful Topsail Beach home from Friday 10 February 2006 till Sunday 18 February 2006. Our family of eleven adults stayed in the house for eight days. Our U. S. Marine son was returning from his second tour of Iraq. We arrived the Friday to find a colorful clean home with a beautiful view of the ocean. The house was lots more than we expected. The amount of space the house offered was wonderful. I would strongly recommend staying here at anytime. We now have three sons in the U. S. Marines and will need a place to stay in the future and plan to rent from Veronica again.

We rented both sides of this beautiful beachhouse the week of July 9-16, 2005, and it perfectly accommodated our four families that included 9 adults and 9 children under the age of 9! There was so much space, we could have actually had more people join us and we wouldn't have been crowded. We left the door open between the two kitchens, which it made it feel like one huge kitchen, and enjoyed having double of everything. We have rented several large beach houses in the past in the Outer Banks, but really liked North TopSail Beach much better. The drive in was easy (no traffic jams on the beach access highways), the beach was uncrowded and beautiful. The ocean temp was much warmer and the waves much milder than the Outer Banks, so the kids were in the water constantly. The house is fantastic - very comfortable, and very well stocked. On rainy days we took advantage of the GameCube and wireless internet access to keep the kids busy playing games. We bought local seafood and grilled out most evenings (there aren't many good restaurants in North Topsail yet). The kids enjoyed crab hunting with flashlights at night, and swimming in the pool that is just a short walk, maybe four houses down the beach. Overall, this was an excellent vacation experience. Veronica is a pleasure to work with and is very focused on customer satisfaction.

We had a family reunion from 7/23 - 7/30. The house was beyond amazing, everything was top of the line. We had 7 adults & 4 kids. There was more then enough room for everyone. We all commented at how well we all slept every night. The bedding and mattresses were so incredibly comfortable. There were several other families in surrounding homes we met during the week and all the kids played together. Truely one of the best weeks of vacation we've ever had. The weather was perfect, and the house has everything you could imagine. Between the ocean, pool and hot tub there is always something to do or relax in. We highly recommend this house!! 5 stars

We had the pleasure of staying on TopSail Island in Veronica's great beach house the week of July30-Aug.6. I am a professional caterer and was very impressed with how well equipped the kitchen is, not to mention how great it is to see the ocean at all times from not only the kitchen, but all of the house (loved the porches in almost every room)! The weather was sunny and perfect and we were treated to meteor showers in the starry skies every night while sitting in the hot tub! Veronica went to great lengths to make sure that she gave us information on everything we might possibly need or want to do on the island as well as all the details about the house. This was greatly appreciated! All in all, it was a great stay in a beautiful house with the ocean right there! Thanks!

Veronica, Your home is fabulous! Our family enjoyed listening to the sound of the ocean at night and watching the dolphins from porch! The kids enjoyed walking right down to the beach and playing in the sand. It was great not to bring the extras you would need if you stayed at a hotel! We didn't have to worry about beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, pack-n-play, high chair, etc.! The custom furnishings were superb! I want to thank you for installing the wireless internet so I could keep up with work while away! We can't wait to check out your other properties! Perfect Beach Vacation... We stayed at Veronica's Topsail Villa the last week in March and totally enjoyed every minute. Long relaxing days on the beach, Stargazing with the kids in the Hot Tub every night, Great Big Cabs and Merlots to finish a great day and a few competitive card games in the wee hours, Great creature comforts in every room, Beautifully appointed bedrooms with the most comfortable beds and bedding, Listening to the sounds of ocean waves all night and then waking up to freshly made expressos and latte's in the morning is the way to relax and get away from it all! We stayed with both sets of grandparents and they really appreciated the elevator access especially when the spring winds and rain start to kick up. Our weather was great for that time of year with 4 out of 7 days in the 70s with plenty of sunshine and beautiful fluffy clouds to watch while reading great books between naps and walks on the beach. On our last day we were able to watch a family of dolphins surf the waves in to the beach from a starting point at the end of the pier and it looked like they were really having a great time trying to outdo each other. Found a terrific little par 3 golf course in Wilmington that was very family friendly and my nine and twelve year olds could get in some really fun golf experiences. All in all, if you are looking for Quality, Quality, Quality, then this home has everything you need. We really appreciated the personal attention to our vist as well as how Veronica went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitly consider this home again and look forward to trying out Big Blue someday as well. Thanks!
