Serendipity in Josiah's Bay has been a guest house for over twenty years. This affordable, budget vacation home was purchased by Tony Snell, Tortola's long time resident, author of Spitfire Troubadour as well as the founder and owner of Last Resort restaurant.
Serendipity is located only steps away from Tamarind Club and about 20 minutes walking (or 4 minutes driving) to Josiah's Bay beach. We are a four cottage guesthouse surrounding the pool and in the middle of a lush tropical garden. Please note that this listing is for only one of those cottages - the Upper Villa. In this unit we can accommodate between 1 and 4 persons. The entire house is equipped with cable TV and WI FI. Outdoor dining overlooking Josiah's Bay can seat up to 8 people. Jeremy and Marija, who manage Serendipity, will be happy to help and make your vacation as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Amenities include: all linen and towels, full kitchen, outdoor gas barbecue, pool chairs, beach chairs, coolers, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, etc.

Year Purchased: 2012
About the owner: I arrived to Tortola back in the late '60s and immediately fell in love with the BVIs. Originally coming down to help with a charter boat company, my wife Jackie and I soon started our own restaurant, now legendary Last Resort. My travels have taken me all over the world but my heart has always brought me back to the BVIs. This year I purchased Serendipity House, affordable and comfortable home away from home, only minutes away from some of the nicest beaches on the island. My son Jeremy and his girlfriend Marija, owners of Cooten House www.vrbo.com/303092 manage and live at Serendipity and will be there to assist you with any questions you might have and share their knowledge on Tortola and its neighbouring islands.
