Aqua Villa is a four-story, 24-unit condo building directly on the beach. Amenities include a large swimming pool, elevator (only needed for laundry since this unit is a ground level), common grilling area, grass and fenced area for kids to play, poolside lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. Because it is a smaller building, it provides a sense of intimacy with its environment of rustling palms, the scent of the gulf waters and the ever-present sound of the surf.
Conveniently located close to grocery, restaurants and shops, you won’t need to travel far for supplies or amenities while you vacation on the shore. A convenience store and post office located across the street provide for your immediate needs without even getting in your car.
This condo was given a complete facelift in October, 2011 with updated and fresh furnishings and equipment throughout.
This unit accommodates five guests in beds and up to six persons: the front bedroom has a California king bed; the second bedroom has a queen and a single bed and a private bath. A sixth guest would sleep on sofa in living area. The unit has a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar. The living area includes a four-person dining table, coffee tables, a couch and love seat. Plenty of closet and drawer space is available for your personal items. Off-street parking and carts make it easy to load and unload your vehicle.
Aqua Villa and Okaloosa Island are conveniently located close to major highways and the Okaloosa Regional Airport. Ft. Walton Beach has public transportation that runs on a regular schedule from the Island to shopping and other local attractions. There is ample shopping close to Okaloosa Island. There are a number day trips you can take to see other sites including Destin, Seaside, and Pensacola, among others.
There is any number of golf courses at your disposal. If you like to fish, there are several fishing charter locations for Gulf excursions, inter-coastal and fresh water fishing. Other recreational activities include kayaking, snorkeling with dolphins, parasailing, surfing, boogie boarding, body surfing, sailing, boating, mini-golf, and beachcombing, just to name a few.
If you just want to relax, enjoy the pool area or take our umbrella and chairs to the beach (you'll find them in your unit). We loved our vacation at this condo! My husband and I took our toddler and elderly parents. The condo is on the ground floor which made it very easy to get to. The condo is clean, well decorated, and very cozy! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. I really enjoyed the coffee pot, which was perfect to have a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise! The condo has two bedrooms with very comfortable beds (King, queen and a twin) and plenty of closet space. I was especially surprised to see both bathrooms had plenty of cabinet space and safety bars in the shower. The pool is right outside the door and is very well maintained. The beach is just a few steps from the condo with beautiful white sand. We especially enjoyed dolphin watching! We saw dolphins every day swimming along the shore! The condo is located in the perfect spot within Fort Walton, you are just minutes from a grocery store, restaurants and Destin. You can walk to a small store straight across the condo parking lot to be able to get any supplies that you could possibly need, perfect when you need another loaf of bread or more sunblock. The condo owners also had a wonderful reference book that was very handy with restaurant menus, attractions, etc. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this condo and the service of the owner! We are so pleased that I’ve already booked another trip this year! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo to all!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

My wife and I really loved this unit. We go to Fort Walton a lot and this has to be one of the best places we've stayed. We will be back and look forward to staying on the beach again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners.

We rented here with these VERY accommodating owners to have some family and cousins down for the sand volleyball tournament right down the beach. The condo is more spacious than photos appear, and very comfortable. The proximity of beach and pool wonderful. The rates are usually high and accommodations kind of tight in the area around tournament time, so we were thrilled to get this condo for what a hotel room would cost (aaah, 2 baths). The location was awesome, the gorgeous beach right out of the door and within a mile and a half of the courts on the beach. The bed arrangements are particularly nice allowing for both big people (hulking volleyball players) and extras (both a queen and a twin in the second bedroom). Usually you have to choose between twins or bunks or just two big beds in a 2-bdrm condo, so this was really nice. Travelling with high school and college age, I am really liking some options that don't make us share beds and don't make me rent multiple condos. Those 6'6" bodies don't fit in bunk beds or twins very well now.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We absolutely loved the condo! The pool is right out your front door. You are just a few steps from the sugar white sand on the beach! While we where there we saw dolphins swimming every morning just off shore. I have to say the beds where the most comfortable I've ever slept in away from home! This place is well worth the money and my family will be planning a return trip ASAP!! Very nice people to deal with through the whole process, even though they are from Tennessee...inside joke, I'm a Arkansas Razorback Lol. I miss the beach alreadyDid you find this review helpful? My husband & I recently spent two months at this property. We have been vacationing in the Ft· Walton area for several years & this stay was, by far, the best. We were impressed with how well stocked the condo was. The kitchen was amazing & there was plenty of storage space. We loved the calm atmosphere & the lay out. We felt at home & have already booked the condo for three months in the upcoming fall/winter season. We highly recommend this property. The owners are awesome & so helpful. The only thing a visitor will need is their clothes & groceries.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

We had the best week! We loved the condo and the property. I highly recommend this particular unit. Beautifully decorated and the most comfortable beds. My kids had a blast! My husband and I recently stayed in this cute little condo when we went to visit my sister . We were impressed with the coziness and homey feel of this place and the availability to the pool, beach and nearby restaurants in the area. It is a good price for all the availabilities and the beach is just a few steps away! We enjoyed the "crow's nest" by the pool and watching the sunset with our friends. We will recommend this place to our friends and can't wait to go back! We loved the restaurant down the road High Tides and another just a few miles away called Floyds. The owner was very pleasant and helpful with information.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

My family has made three trips to Ft. Walton over the past year. We have stayed in this condo every time. It is perfect for families with smaller children because it's on the ground floor, in a small complex, with the swimming pool right outside the front door. In the master bedroom, we would crack the window and listen to the ocean while we were going to sleep. We look forward to going back next year, and we hope to stay here again. The lady in charge of the upkeep for the complex is very friendly and made us feel right at home. Everything was clean and well taken care of.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway.
