When you are a guest of Melody Key, you have the entire island to yourself. Including Melody's Island Keeper who is a short boat ride away and is on 24/7 call should you need his assistance in any way. Otherwise, enjoy the total privacy of your own island.
This beautiful art deco tropical island sleeps eight, with multi-level porches and a widow's walk which gives you a 360 degree ocean view. When you enter the main house you are welcomed by a warming atmosphere and vibrant art work by local artists. It boasts a generous space which can also be transformed into a double pull-out bed to accommodate additional guests if need be.
The Master Bedroom Suite with art deco touches, perfectly blends with traditional island details. Guests can enjoy the private balcony with gorgeous ocean views and a substantial king size bed with signature bedding. Guest bedroom with a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom.This room has a private balcony overlooking the swimming pool and out to the ocean. The third bedroom consists of double bunkbeds and sleeps two to four guests. The room also has a balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean, and comes complete with an ensuite shower room.
The kitchen is a magnificent open floor plank, you will find everything you need to cook delicious meals. Fully equipped appliances include a viking refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher and range cooker.
This spacious and luxurious living room, situated on the top floor, offers panoramic 360 degree view of the ocean. With direct access onto three separate balconies, this room is definitely at the heart of this resort.
With surround sound, a large plasma screen television, and the comfort of fine leather sofa's - whether you're looking to enjoy a movie, lay back from a fun filled day of activities and read your favourite book, or just gather around the table to plan the next day's adventures, this lounge is where the soul of the house resides!
We recommend flying in to Key West. There, you can rent a car and it's just a 30 minute drive to Summerland You will be taken by boat to the island, and given an orientation tour. If you are flying in from an international destination, then we suggest you land in Miami International airport- which is 160 miles away and either take a connection to Key West, or rent a car and drive down
Melody Key, is totally equipped with a solar inverter and a on-demand muted generator. Water is amply made through a desalination system.
The heated pool, Jacuzzi, central air-conditioning, satellite TV, great sound system, Wi-Fi, Washer-Dryer, gas grill and kayaks are some of the conveniences, but if you require anything else, it can be arranged by our Island Keeper
When all you want to do is relax: Melody Key Private Island is the perfect place to put your feet up, lay back and observe the beautiful sunset.
