Come enjoy our comfortable beachfront condo located in the La Mirage condominium with all the amenities you could ever want or need and only a few steps to the beach via the private boardwalk. We are new owners and in the process of professionally redecorating the entire condo and will include a large sectional sofa and cheerful, updated decor. Flat screen TVs are in the living room and master bedroom with Blu-Ray/DVD players, cable and free wireless. The master bedroom has a hand-crafted king bed from India with an ocean view and a wall of patio doors and windows that open to the patio. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed and a twin single bed. Our unit sleeps 8 people and boasts 1250 square feet of living space. Our home offers a very large beachfront patio facing east. You will have no west afternoon sun which makes for very breezy, pleasant afternoons lounging outdoors. Choose our condo and start making wonderful memories! It is located on Hwy. 361 just 30 minutes from Corpus Christi and 5 minutes from downtown Port Aransas.

We arrived right at check-in time and condo was ready for us. We had a party of 7 and the condo had beds for everyone. (My husband and I, Grandma and Grandpa, and our three kids.) We could have even let the kids bring friends. The condo has been well decorated. It is fun but not overly "beach" themed :) Cheryl, the condo owner, was wonderful to work with! She is friendly, prompt and very helpful. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our stay was enjoyable! The weather was great and overall we were pleased with the accommodations. In addition the owners are fantastic and very helpful. The interior of the condo is nicely decorated and there is a large table that allowed for the family to eat together. My only complaint is that the sheets smelled sour so we had to wash them and the back sliding door sticks and makes it difficult for little ones to shut. In addition to no fault of the owner one of the elevators was out the first two days of our stay and one of the pools was also closed.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Thanks for the good review. I'm so sorry about the sheets. My cleaning lady called and said the dryer was not working properly, and since it was a new one, that was unexceptable! However, it has now been fixed and had been pushed too far back and kinked the hose. We hope to see you again!

We had a wonderful stay here. The accomodations were cozy and clean. The set up was great for both my family (2 adults and 1 child) and my sisters crew of (2 adults and 3 children). Beach access was superb- View was wonderful. Crab hunting was a success! La Mirage is a little older but this condo was updated nicely and furnished well. We spent the month of February in the Beachfront Condo and had a wonderful time. The condo is beautifully decorated and the owners made sure we had everything we needed, including suggestions for restaurants and things to do. We loved the location: morning sun and afternoon shade on the balcony, with a grand view of the water and beaches. Gorgeous sunrises. La Mirage is a 1980s art deco design and all the condos are at an angle so there's plenty of light - the grounds and heated pool are meticulously cared for. Wi-fi can be a bit slow during high-traffic periods. I would highly recommend this property - we definitely plan to return!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are a retired couple from Austin, Texas, who just purchased our condo in 2012. Having some of our kids and grandchildren near us, we decided it was time to buy our own condo because we love to go to Port Aransas with our family and play, fish, eat and make a lot of very good memories. We hope you enjoy our home away from home as much as we do!
Why the Owner Chose La Mirage:
This property was chosen for its beachfront location, all the amenities the condominium complex has to offer and the very large patio facing the water with no west afternoon sun. Port Aransas is only 3 1/2-4 hours from Austin, where most of our family lives. There is so much right here, we hardly need to leave!
