Experience the unique Kiawah Island beach vacation spot - romantic getaway with ten miles of wide unspoiled beaches, meandering lagoons, river, and lakes. Beachwalker Beach Park in Kiawah Island was recently ranked as one of top ten public beaches in 2008. The Shipwatch Villa has its own private beach. Our vacation beach villa blends beautifully in this lush, coastal Carolina environment. Walk 50 yards from the villa's boardwalk and you will be touching the sandy white beach. Once at the beach, enjoy the magnificent scenery of the ocean with the back-drop of the ever-changing cloud formation where birds can be seen birds flying above. Jump in the warm water and catch the wave. Our beach villa is ideal for a couple and small children. It is newly renovated with a queen size bed, full size sleeper sofa, fully-equipped kitchen, large wall-to-ceiling window with a balcony. Shops, restaurants, ice cream parlour, are just few step walk from the villa.
If direct access to a beautiful, white and sandy beach is the focus of your vacation, this villa is the place to be! Experience a different kind vacation - biking or leisurely walking along the beach or on more than 30 miles of paved bike/walk trails along marshes, golf courses, fishing and maritime forests. Local vendors deliver specially sand-traction type bikes right on the condo parking lot.
If you rent with us, you also can have access to the amenities of Kiawah's sister island, Seabrook Island, because we have another rental property there at Creekwatch Villa. Great deal! Two beach vacation islands for the price of one!

LOVE Kiawah! Just returned home today and am already online making plans for our next two visits - this is a don't miss destination! The studio set up was all we needed - spent most of our time adventuring around the island but it was nice to come "home" - love the striped chair, claimed it on the first day, very comfy! The elevator makes things much easier, the beach is a breeze to access, morning coffee and paper as well as an evening scoop of ice cream were right next door in the Straw Market shops. While the villa is not an end unit, which seems so popular, this one has a community sun porch on one side and steps on the other and we were the only ones using them - very quiet and private! We loved being on the 4th floor - from the porch we looked right into the trees - great view! Clean, well equipped, tons of information on island amenities, comfortable bed and the owners were very nice and easy to work with - actually made accommoddations for our last minute decision to attend a wedding and what a great decision that was! Thank you for a great visit and we can't wait to return.
