Our beautiful three bedroom, beachfront home, has Italian tile throughout. It is light, open, and airy, with a large living room with built in couches, a fully stocked kitchen, two large bathrooms, with large walk-in tile showers. One bath has huge sunken bathtub of Italian tile (eight feet by four feet, by three feet). There are two first floor large bedrooms, and second floor bedroom, with views in all directions.

There is a huge covered veranda overlooking the ocean, covered walkway to adjoining palm covered rancho with hammocks and separate bodega, with washer and dryer for beach toys. You will enjoy the beautiful yard landscaped with beautiful native flowers, palm trees, mango trees, banana trees, almond trees, and other fruit trees.

Also, there is a large back yard, with hitching posts for horses. For entertaining, there is a large table of purpleheart wood on the veranda, with seating for ten people, as well as an outdoor shower in a private bamboo enclosure overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

There is fresh mountain spring water available, excellent for drinking. Costa Rica is a very safe and friendly country with ninety-seven percent literacy (the highest in the world). Matapalo Beach is located between Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park, and the surfing mecca of Dominical. Matapalo is a tight knit group of Ticos, Europeans, and gringos living in a small community of a collection of small quiet beach resorts, and eclectic bistros.

Food varies from French, German, Swiss, Continental, Seafood, and even great pizza. Matapalo Beach has been awarded the "Blue Flag" award by the Costa Rican government and tourism department, which recognizes select beaches in Costa Rica for quality, cleanliness, and other valuable factors. Matapalo has been referred to as one of the world's most beautiful beaches.
