Just two blocks to downtown, Drake Park with the Deschutes River running though it, and the Old Mill District just four blocks away make this a great vacation home for your next family vacation to Bend!
Hard floors throughout main living area in an open and social floor plan, the living room has a 32 flat screen LCD television and dvd player, and ceiling fan with warm, cozy decor throughout and old world charm with a modern twist. Decorated in warm rich tones enhance the comfort all through the home.
The queen master suite with a full on suite tiled bathroom is located on the lower level as well as the twin bunk room with a flat screen lcd television and fax machine.
Get comfortable in the upper level angled ceiling private queen guest suite with skylights which give plenty of light and a full bathroom which includes a shower, toilet and sink.
Whip up memorable meals in the light and bright fully equipped tiled kitchen with an electric 4 burner range and plenty of cooking implements, dishes and flatware and seated formal dining for 6. Bar b que on the gas grill in the backyard with plenty of grass and a beautiful rock garden and seated patio dining for 6. Washer and dryer is located on lower level of the vacation home.
Do you need additional space? We also have a one bedroom, one bathroom loft that sleeps four more with a queen and queen sofa sleeper and a two car garage, both places have their own washer and dryer.
The Shasta house and loft are a very short and easy stroll to downtown Bend for all of the fine dining, breweries, restaurants and boutique shopping as well as drake park. In the other direction is the same easy walk to the Old Mill District for movie theatres, shopping and the Les Schwab Amphitheatre for concerts and events. Take a sunset stroll along the Deschutes River, which is about two blocks away.

I was looking for a place within walking distance to Downtown and Old Mill. This house was perfect. Very clean, looks like it has been recently painted. It's also about 30 minutes to the mountain. There is also a very cute loft in the back which we didn't stay in but it looked like it was very open and had a nice deck off the front and back. The property management company was very professional. I highly recommend this place.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
