This was probably our best Christmas ever - and if you have ever had to sleep on the fold out couch in the basement of your mother's house when you are over 50 you know what I'm talking about! This cottage is darling and really is walking distance to anything downtown. This home has a very classic style with many of the original fixtures - hardwood floors, that white formica with gold flecks (which I love), overlooks the park and has an unexpected peekaboo view of the Elkhorns. Another plus is that this home is VERY clean and well maintained. One feature that I did not expect was how quiet and peaceful this home is at night. When we went to bed we didn't hear a thing. I thought it might be more noisy due to the proximity to the park and town. Another surprise - the basement with a ping pong table. The owner was wonderful to work with and was very gracious about accomodating a special request from us also. We wanted to stay longer! If we ever bought a home in Baker we'd want it to be just like this one ...OR we'll just keep staying here.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We loved our stay at your charming home. We had everything we needed to feel at home and more. The location could not have been better. We never had to get in the car. Thank you so much for sharing!
