About the owner: I was born and raised in Tucson. I lived in NYC for many years and returned to Tucson in 1987. My family currently lives in the main house on the property where the guest house is located.
Why the Owner Chose Blenman-Elm: I have always loved this area of Tucson. I grew up in a house a few blocks away from this house. The property is like having your own private oasis right in the heart of Tucson. Privacy and close to everything - what more could you ask for?
The Unique Benefits at this Studio: The main house and guesthouse are located in a truly historic, beautiful neighborhood. The main house was believed to have been built in the 1930s for the first manager of the Arizona Inn. I loved this house the second I walked in the front door. The guesthouse (approximately 700 square feet)was built in 1958. It's a terrific open layout with a sitting area with a fireplace, working/dining area, etc.
