This property was beautiful and had a gorgious view. However, part of a community you must respect with 12 family owned units, noise etc. The unit was very custom as was the kitchen and I am a cook. The beds could have been softer , but other than that we were very happy there and wished we could afford a unit.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Absolutely amazing, this place comes out of an architecture magazine!! Since when you arrive to Doce Soles, you feel the atmosphere of a very special place!, The architecture is unique and the apartment is very well maintened, the owner, a renowed architect of the area, use to live here, and the taste is great!!. The view is awesome!!, sunset every day from our terrace and the hammoc terrace is so cool!! The master bedroom view to the ocean through the tropical trees is great, and the rain showers in the bathroom are so nice too. Great open kitchen to enjoy the family while you´re cooking!! I came with my family and the children really enjoyed the infinity pool and the garden downstairs. The trip to the beach is SO SHORT, I was worried about it, but this is nothing to be worried, we walk to the beach, and the days we were tired, Jorge (the house caretaker) called a taxi for us and arrived in few minutes (and it was very cheap). I strongly recommend you this property, and the next time I go back to Ixtapa again I will return to this place.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I am a Mexican Architect that came to Ixtapa 10 years ago to develop some projects, and I fell in love of the area, I built Doce Soles and some other properties around. I really like the outdoor living and sports. I am working with some of my friends developing the Zihua Style, which is an architectural expression of the way of living and design in this specific part of the Mexican coast.
Why the Owner Chose Ixtapa:
When I built Doce Soles, I fell like this was a place like no other in the world, the amazing views, manicured tropical gardens, and the quality on the small details.
I decided to kept one of the apartments for my family, This place use to be my home for 8 years, but now, unfortunately, I had to move my residence to Morelia because of work opportunities, so I thought this place must be known for more people that likes architecture, and quite places to spend their holidays.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Because this use to be my home, I spend a lot of time working on the interior design and making this place unique. The very open living space joins the kitchen, the living room and the dining room with a huge terrace where you will be able to see 365 unrepeatable sunsets seated on a very comfortable coach or lying on the hammock.
A very nice and quiet pool is next to the door. The infinity design joins the pool with the ocean surrounded with big palm trees and a nice shade if you don't want more sun.
The privacy of Doce Soles make this place a better option than the big condominiums at the beach, if you really want to rest in your vacations, choose this place!!, you will not be disappointed!!
