Our rates are reasonable, we're only one mile from beautiful Lake Burton, and we're open year round, no matter what the season. Located on beautiful Scenic Highway 197, near Lake Burton and Lake Rabun, we're close to Alpine Helen, state and national parks, and many popular attractions.
Come take refuge in the North Georgia Mountains! Plan your family reunion, intimate wedding, or just a friends get-away! Rent it all or just a few rooms!
The North 40 Lodge sleeps 17-20 people. We have the Living Quarters which consists of two bedroom, two baths, full kitchen, living room with fireplace and a great screened porch with fireplace. Each of our rooms are private, with warm wonderful decor, kitchenettes and all connect by a large stonewall deck.
Plan to spend some restful time in the mountains with us, where we forget to count the days!!
Sleep in ... or rock on the porch and enjoy the sounds of the mountains. We have over 12 private acres to walk ... take a picnic, and enjoy the peace and serenity of our mountain forests.

Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We moved from Florida to enjoy the Mountains. My boys attended Camp Cherokee on Lake Burton when they were small and we have always loved this area. We purchased the North 40 Lodge in 2005 and have run the lodge as a B & B for the last years. Now we have moved to the Lake and wish to open the entire lodge to folks to enjoy as their 'home away from home'. It is a wonderful spot here in 'God's Country'!
