Beautiful Beachfront Makaha setting with two clean, furnished bungalows. A great value for Beachfront vacationers. There are two, 2 bedroom, 1 bath bungalows on the beach with a huge 1/2 acre lot.
Located right on the sand on famous Makaha Beach with perfect surf all year long for beginners to advanced depending on swell size.
Watch dolphins and sea turtles frolic in the water right in front of our beach. Great snorkeling (yes, we have snorkling gear for you, and also boogey boards). Pristine white sand beach. Miles of empty beaches only 2 minutes away heading north.
Sunset breakfast, lunch, or dinner under our 100 year old Hau tree.
Located one hour from Waikiki and the Honolulu Airport and 45 minutes from the North Shore. Golf, kayak and surfboard rental, shopping and food are only two miles away. Both bungalows are very fresh and clean on the interior.

My sisters and I took our mother to Hawaii for her 75th birthday. I found this bungalow rental on VRBO and we were set! We loved staying at the bungalow. Just walk out the gate and there was the beach. We spent every morning waiting for the sun to rise and every evening watching the magical sunsets! I would love to return to this same location and recommend it to anyone wanting a true Hawaiian experience. Gloria was a big help during our stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Although I have retired from the US Army and from the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine, my life is still pretty busy. Home is La Jolla, California, but there is no better place to relax and recharge my batteries than this little paradise right on the beach in Makaha. I have been coming here since 1973. How can you beat having a glass of wine, eating good food, and being with friends.
Why the Owner Chose Makaha:
Makaha is quiet, casual, and far away from the crowds of Waikiki. The water, snorkling, and surf are the best on the island. But most of all, the people of Waianae Coast are the most genuine and friendly on all Oahu.
