A few of us needed to be in Hartwell for the weekend and this house far exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend staying here. The pedal boat was fun and swimming in the small cove was very relaxing.

Hi, we had 4 adults and 6 children and it was perfect!! Everything was cleaned and neat!! There is so much room in this home and we loved the TIKI...great for kids. The lake is awesome, we had the perfect cove and alot of privacy. Loved this placed!! And Lisa is great to work with!! I can't wait to come again next year.

We just returned home from a week @ Lake Hartwell and really enjoyed the house and surf shack. The house was very "homey" and comfortable - rooms plenty big enough and the surf shack was great for the teenagers! Swimming off the dock was great- cove is QUIET... actually the whole lake was quiet during our stay so we really enjoyed boating and tubing. The guys did a fishing charter one night & caught a good amount of BIG fish that we fileted and ate during the week. Highly recommend renting "Hartwell Heaven & the SURF SHACK"

We are already planning our return to Hartwell Heaven & Surf Shack. Lisa has left no detail undone… from the beautiful decor, lush bedding and fabulous lake views you will not want to leave. I have vacationed in North Georgia for over 15 years and rented many homes through VRBO and this by far was the BEST!!! It is like renting two homes for the price of one, the Surf Shack provides hours of entertainment for the kids in turn giving the adults their own quite time in the main house. You will also be amazed by Lisa’s artistry in the mosaic mirrors and other decor throughout.

I would describe Hartwell Heaven as a perfect place to stay with family and friends. We stayed for a week four adults and five children ages 15-9. The kids loved having their own space in the Surf Shack and the adults enjoyed the peace and quite of the main house. We rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed the beautiful lake. In the afternoons we cooked on the grill and enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. The house has everything you need. Games, books, cooking supplies (pots,pans, ect), wireless internet, TV's, and enough water toys for everyone. Lisa (owner) is really helpful and kind she made our stay perfect. I wish we were there now.

If you are looking for the perfect place to spend time with family and friends, this IS IT! Our group has now visited 3 times. This is now a tradition for us which we hope to continue moving forward. The home is warm, inviting, spacious, and clean. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space in the main house. The "shack" is marvelous for kids of all ages. The property is beautiful and relaxing. Lisa (the owner) and her family are wonderful to work with. Simply cannot say enough positive things - go, you will not be disappointed! On second thought, no don't go.....then it might be booked when we want to go again!

Our family has had several wonderful vacations at Hartwell Heaven and the Surf Shack. The house is charming, with plenty of room for everyone. It is comfortably furnished and has every amenity you could want. We love the fire pit and the beautiful grounds. The unique decor in the surf shack really gives you the feeling of a tropical vacation. Adults and children love it. We highly recommend this house for your vacation.

Our whole family had a great time here! Our 3 granddaughters were wild about the surf shack and all of the adults were so pleased with the accommodations, cute decor and comfort.We cooked every night in the great kitchen, fished, swam and sunned on the dock. A great place to stay with lots of different areas to relax outside!

We spent a week here and loved every minute of it. The house was wonderful and the kids all enjoyed the Surf Shack! The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, blankets and towels. We rented a pontoon for the whole week and the kids all learned to ski. The dock and cove were great for swimming! We will definately be back soon!

We stayed at Hartwell Heaven this past week and we had a wonderful time! The house is very well stocked with every thing we needed. We cooked almost every night and the kitchen was well equipped. We rented a boat from Gordons and the kids all learned to ski! We would recomend this house to anyone looking for some fun and relaxation. The dock was awesome!

My family of four and two grandparents just spent a wonderful week vacation at Hartwell Heaven and Surf Shack! Everything was provided and it was such a comfortable house. Lots of places to lounge around. The lake was great, renting a boat was a great option but not needed since a canoe and paddle boat were included. We all had a great time and hope to return in the future!

We spent 3 days at this lake house and loved every minute of it. The house is VERY nice and well maintained. It is also very well stocked - every kitchen gadget you need, lots of "water toys", games to play with, movies to watch, linens, and much more. We had 4 adults and 9 children and had plenty of extra room. The cove was the perfect place for the kids to ride on the paddle boats, canoe, and other water toys while waiting for their turn on the jet skis we brought. Jet skis were loads of fun as there is a calm cove next door that was perfect for the kids to learn wakeboarding and to enjoy tubing, then a great slalom course close by, and Hartwell Marina was only a few minutes away (They only charge $5). We could not have had a more perfect 3 day vacation - and the owners of this lake house are very thorough and made every effort to ensure that we enjoyed ourselves. Thank you - we plan to return (and hopefully for a longer stay next time)!!

WOW! What a fantastic vacation home! We went in early March for one our first "spring" weekends. The weather was warm and sunny during the day and colder at night -- which alloed us to sun ourselves on the dock and then roast marshmallows at night! The home is decorated perfectly - you will feel like you are in a boutique hotel, but one where you can still put your feet up! The furnishings are comfy and very cute. The floorplan is perfect for kids and families - we loved it and can't wait to go back!

We truly had a wonderful stay at Hartwell Heaven. I can be a fairly discerning customer (read: picky) and I was really impressed with everything. The owners really think of everything to make your stay comfortable. The beds are super cozy, the kitchen is VERY well equipped (the best I've seen for a rental)and the "extra" amenities are endless -- canoe, fire pit, gas grill, you name it & they have thought of it. And of course, the kids really loved the Surf Shack. It made them feel like there was something there just for them! In addition, the owners are very organized and friendly and make everything very easy. All in all we would highly recommend Hartwell Heaven.

We had an awesome time at Hartwell Heaven and the Surf Shack! The house was perfect for our group. We had the girls in the house and the guys in the surf shack and it worked great. It really is much more spacious than it looks on the website and we loved the porch and the two sitting areas with so much light and a pretty view. We had fun with the pedal boats too - they make you work hard!! It was a good place for our youth worker retreat with 12 adults! The kitchen is very well equipped and the grill is awesome. Lisa was very helpful and responsive through the whole process and answered all my questions! Thank you for everything.

Our stay at Hartwell Heaven was wonderful. We had three families. Six adults, seven children, three boats and plenty of room for everything. We have rented other properties on the lake before and this is by far our favorite. The location on the lake is great. It is close to everything we were looking for; gas, Dam, Big Water, great beaches, and the river channels. The short walk to the dock was appreciated by all (especially Grandma and Grandpa). We had such a splendid week at Hartwell Heaven. It really is so much more than just a rental property. We never felt like we were in a rental but more like we were staying at a friends house!! The location of the cove is so nice because there is very little boat traffic. I felt very comfortable to let the kids putz around in the paddle boats. I would whole heartedly reccomend this as your next vacation spot!!

Comment Text: Hartwell Heaven was a great house to rent! My whole family came, grand parents, kids and grandkids! We swam all day, played with all the great floats and paddle boats, we caught lots of fish and just had a ball at the dock . the kitchen and dinning area were great for our big group we had all the pots and pans to make great meals.My mother kept saying how beautifully it was decorated and how nice the house was. We had a wonderful time at the lake. Everything was perfect. The kids really enjoyed the carriage house and all the games. Gordon is so nice and provided us with a boat which he delivered and picked up - so easy. Everyone enjoyed tubing. I just loved being with my whole family and riding on the boat. We LOVED our time at Hartwell Heaven!!Our family, consisting of 6 adults and 5 children just stayed a week there and had the time of our lives!! Hartwell Heaven is awesome. We took this trip for my husbands 30th birthday and we had a great time. The weather was terrible but, the house made our trip great. There were so many comfortable places to be so we never felt cramped. My children loved the surf shack, my 7 year old called it "his crib". We would recommend this place to all of our friends, and we hope we can stay again. Thank you to Lisa who made us feel like we were her friends.

WOW, this place exceeded our expectations (which were quite high). I took my daughter and a group of her friends to Hartwell Heaven for her 17th birthday celebration. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, there was gracious space and seating, the location in the cove was marvelous (the teens loved the paddle boats). The shack decor was delightful and fun, not to be outdone by the spectacular pieces of art and design in the main house. Lisa is an absolute joy to work with, I feel I have found a new friend! OK - so here's my only hesitation....if too many people discover this place, it will stay booked and there won't be openings for us to return (which we definitely want to do).

Aloha from Lake Hartwell! We've been busy this fall working on additional landscape improvements -- and it shows! Our manilla rope and post fencing out front really lends a nautical flare to the entrance...and now you can't miss our mailbox, which is rope/post with the mailbox covered in SURFBOARDS of course! Over 600 bulbs have gone in, lots of new plant material including perennials, shrubs and climbing roses. We added over a ton of sand to the firepit area, making it very beachy and nice on the toes! Lisa - Your home became ours as soon as we opened the front door. We could feel the warmth & love from the color of the rooms, the absolute cleanliness, the decorations and the total space for a large family to enjoy themselves. Everything you have you have put into your home and the many amenities allowed us to totally enjoy and relax as a family. The Surf Shack has been a hit with the older kids -- they made it their hideaway and enjoyed it so much -- so well decorated and furnished. The view of the lake and the many patios to overlook them allowed us to relax and enjoy each others' company. Our stay at the Hartwell Heaven & Surf Shack was wonderful. Anything that you could imagine that you would like to have away from your own home, was there. The fishing, and onsite activities is enough for anyone to be able to have some fun!! Games, puzzles, magazines, are abundant, so relax on the screened porch, and read a while! Our stay at the Kishoni's Hartwell Heaven was great! The house (and surf shack) are even nicer than they appear in the pictures. Ms. Kishoni also did a great job of staying in touch via email, and it made the rental process a breeze. I strongly suggest that you do yourself a favor and take a week to enjoy Lake Hartwell.

What a perfect lake house! I really cannot say enough wonderful things about IT and ITS owners. It is clean, very well equiped (from pots and pans to rafts for floating) and plenty of space for everyone. The surf shack is absolutely adorable, a great place for children (in our case) to get away after a long day on the lake and "chill out". Plenty of activities under that one roof! The main house...so comfortable and very roomy. Comfy beds, good linens and furniture! We loved the screened in porch, perfect for reading, napping or just relaxing. Great views of the lake and just a gentle slope to the dock...which also is ideal for sitting and enjoying the lake. A great getaway!

Hartwell Heaven is such a great spot! Our family of 10 met there for a week of relaxation and we had tons of room. There are so many special touches at this home - too numerous to describe. We enjoyed the lake and all the extras - the paddle boats, canoe, and great floats. There is quite a bit of room to spread out. Lots of areas to go for some time by yourself and several areas large enough for everyone to gather - the perfect combination! You can tell that the owners take great pride in what they've created at Hartwell Heaven and it is much deserved. Lisa Kishoni was a delight to deal with. We hope to be able to take my husband's family there next time and introduce his nieces to the adorable Surf Shack - SO cute!!! What a special home! The decorating and furnishings are top notch...down to the Pottery Barn bedding. The view of the lake from every room is spectacular. The setting is so private and peaceful. You can see the love and care put into this home. My children felt as though the "surf shack" was their own little special home. The decorating done in the "surf shack" was so creative. It's such an extra special feature. We could not have asked for a better spot to vacation!

We just returned from a wonderful week at Hartwell Heaven and needless to say, we had a GREAT time! We also rented a pontoon from Gordon at Gordon's Marine and he was wonderful man with a great sense of humor. I had to take plenty of video as my 8yr old daughter constantly was coaxing her Dad onto the tube. Without the pictures, his mom would never believe it. The children loved hanging out at the Surf Shack and dressing up in all of the Hawaiian attire! My daughter started her own diner and was taking orders and serving up snacks to her brother and sister! The weather was great and we can't wait to return. The Lake was clean and not alot of boat traffic during the week. We found many great coves to anchor and swim in. You can't go wrong with the wonderful house and VERY comfortable beds!!

"What a treat! This has been a nice get-away. This home is very roomy and is decorated with a Hawaiian theme. Our kids especially enjoyed the luau clothes and the hair clip flowers.
