Oyster Shores is situated on Vancouver Island where world famous Fanny Bay oysters are grown and harvested. Beach access is less than 100 yards from your front door. The 3 bedroom guest house provides a restful setting with unique walking trails on the quiet peninsula of Ships Point. The home's open design encourages you to enjoy a comfortable and spacious living room, relax in the sun-room or breath the fresh air of the island on the extensive deck or while wandering the gardens.
Oyster Shores offers a unique vacation site that can be educational as well. Optional immersion Spanish instruction is offered, specifically designed for your needs. After a morning of Spanish you still have time to explore the diverse environs of Vancouver Island.

- 20 min. drive to the cities of Courtenay and Comox and its international airport

What a wonderful stay we had at Oyster Shores B&B. The venue was everything and more than we had hoped for. The home is gorgeous, very well cared for and hospitality wonderfully welcoming. Fanny Bay was beautiful as always. We can't wait for a chance to come back again. Thanks so much Gini for a wonderful stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Gini graciously opened both her home and casita to us for our Spanish lessons last fall. Her hospitality and passion for teaching made this a very memorable learning experience. We truly appreciated Gini’s teaching approach – she is very good at managing and challenging a group of students with different ability levels. Very quickly we were speaking, reading and understanding enough to give us the confidence to travel to Spanish speaking countries. The photos and description in the listing are very accurate and everything (the house, casita and the property) is immaculate. Gini has created a home with a very welcoming, comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. The house is open and airy and is located in a very quiet, scenic area. The newly constructed casita is bright, warm and cheery – a perfect place to learn to speak Spanish. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Fanny Bay is a great central location to use as a base for touring and enjoying the outdoors around the Comox Valley and mid-Vancouver Island.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
