The weather in Waikoloa boasts sunny and breezy days! Stay in this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, top floor ocean view unit that is protected by the winds and enjoy a meal or cocktail on your large (381square feet) lanai. Winter sunsets are amazing from here.
This master planned luxury resort has two golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, JR. of which the Vistas is situated next to the Beach Golf Course. Across the street is Aneho'omalu Bay ('A-Bay') located between the Marriott and Hilton Waikoloan Hotels. Sign up for the Dolphin Encounter, Whale Watch Cruises, or stroll their gardens and take a tram or boat ride through the Hilton 'Village'!
This third floor unit has a master bedroom with a king bed, ceiling fan, flat screen t.v and master bathroom with double sinks, a shower and tub. There are custom merabau wooden sliders to darken the room for sleeping.
The second bedroom consists of a queen bed, ceiling fan and plenty of drawers for clothes. There are sliders for privacy. The second bathroom is just off the entryway hall and has a toilet, wash basin, and shower. There is a large washer and dryer, both of which are front loaders.(unlike many rentals which feature smaller ones that barely wash a single king sheet)
The kitchen has recently undergone upgrades with new appliances and granite counters. It has all the conveniences of home such as stocked condiments and an honor wine fridge with various beverages for your convenience.
Dining is for 6 persons with seating for 3 at the breakfast bar. Living room has large ceilings with a ceiling fan, large flat screen t.v. with cable, DVD player and sound system. Couches both have ottomans for putting your feet up. Decor is tropical.
The lanai has a dining table with seating for 6 and wet bar as well .

I can't begin to thank Lillian enough for the best vacation house EVER! She met us when we got there and showed us around the beautiful home, and gave us all sorts of tips, recommendations, and shortcuts. The condo itself has a huge deck with a perfect ocean view! It was right by A-bay- just a 5 minute walk. I was getting my scuba certification, and could easily walk to both the pool and boat launching point from this apartment! The kitchen was stocked with all sorts of condiments and quality cookware and we stopped by Costco by the airport for meat, so we had delicious home-cooked gourmet meals the whole time :) The view from the master bedroom is phenomenal- the perfect place to lounge and be relaxed and happy. There was even internet on the patio and in the bedroom- we didn't plan on using it much, but I got injured and had to spend a few days in bed binging on Netflix on pain meds, so it was SO nice to have :) Lillian was even so kind as to send us some pictures she got of us at the Triathlon- between her thoughtfulness and kindness and the AMAZING condo (so big and classy), I really can't recommend this enough. Thank you thank you thank you Lillian!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Sunny, bright, comfortable and wonderfully appointed with gracious touches!! This is a lovely condo with a great lanai from which to watch the sun rise and set (complete with wet bar and telescope for star-gazing)! The pictures don't do it justice! Close to everything in the Waikoloa Resort area - easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, beaches and hiking trails. Easy drive to all the island sights. The kitchen is well-equipped, including spices and condiments - very nice for those who enjoy cooking - and the complex has gas grills available as well. Beach chairs, towels, mats and basic snorkeling gear are also there to use! Having rented on VRBO and from other management companies, I have to say the owners are the best part of this rental! They met us in person when we checked in - showed us around the condo and the complex, and gave us personal insight on the best beaches, snorkeling, sights, etc. There was also a wonderful welcome gift of local fruit, coffee, chocolate macadamia nuts and greeting and post cards with the owners' beautiful island-themed artwork! Wonderful! We hope to be back here!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

About the owner: My husband, Peter, and I have owned this unit since 1997, and it will be on the rental market for the first time as we have moved to the Big Island permanently after spending every Christmas and summer here with our two daughters since 1993. We moved from Hollis, NH and currently reside at Mauna Lani. Peter attended Carnegie Mellon for his degree in Architecture while Lillian attended St. Anselm College for Political Science. Currently Peter spends his time at The Living Arts Gallery in Hawi where he is an artist and member. Our condo will have some of his artwork displayed.
