This is a very clean 4 bedroom 2 and a half bath beach house situated on a quiet cul-de-sac on Kiawah Island, which hosted the 2012 PGA golf tournament. This expansive and roomy 3-story house offers scenic views of a tidal inlet which opens to the Kiawah River. There is plenty of room for up to 10 to 12 persons to both entertain and relax. There is also a foldout bed available in the sunroom for additional accommodations. The 3rd story bedroom can easily accommodate up to four to six persons and is great hideaway room for the kids. Just off the living room, the back private deck offers beautiful views of a tidal inlet of the Kiawah River with no obtrusive views of other houses or properties. This is a truly pristine, quiet and restful oasis on Kiawah Island. There are two full bathrooms with one of the bathrooms off of the master bedroom. There is also a bright sunroom off of the living room that is perfect for entertaining. The two-car garage also houses many beach bikes that can be used for your enjoyment of the island. Charleston is only a short 25 minute drive which was voted the friendliest city in the U.S. You can stroll down cobblestone streets and take a horse carriage ride. Kiawah Island is also the home of the 5-star Sanctuary Resort hotel with huge murals and picturesque antebellum staircases. Also nearby is the angel oak tree, one of the largest and oldest oak trees in South Carolina. This is by far one of the best deals for any rental home on the island. About the owner: This is a privately owned home which has been used exclusively as a vacation home. The kids are now grown and we would like to share our beach house with others. We live only 4 hours away and have enjoyed our 'home away from home' for many, many years.

For the money, this is one of the best deals for any family or couples to enjoy a quiet, private neighborhood on one of the most pristine barrier islands on the U.S. east coast. The house is very clean, inviting, and comfortable. Charleston, as well as the entire state of South Carolina, is truly one of the most friendly and welcoming places anywhere.....ya'll come on down for a spell !
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Quiet and relaxing neighborhood with a very private back deck area. The golf is second to none! The ocean course, which boasts as one of the top ten courses in the nation, was host to the 2012 PGA tour in August. There are several courses to choose from. Included in the price are free use of several beach bikes to enjoy the many miles of 'bicycle only' trails throughout the island, as well as having long quiet rides on the beach which is several miles in length. The beaches are very natural, unspoiled, and not crowded, even during the summer season.
Also, the island is full of wildlife which include deer, bobcats, birds of all kinds including egrets and herons, and of course....gators !
