  We had a great time there. With my wife and 5 kids we spent a beautiful Ironman week. The condo is very comfortable and far better from the pictures on the web! I will try to come back as soon as possible.

  John and Sharon were great with their communication about the condo. Great things not mentioned. Very quiet complex so you can relax. Extra goodies are there to borrow for the beach. Makes life really easy for you. The condo was clean and exactly as described. Thanks again! We look forward to next year.

  My husband and I just returned from a week in this beautiful condo. It is very clean and beautifully decorated. We felt like we were coming home every time we walked into the condo. It has a great location: walking distance to hotels, a grocery store and restaurtants, close to the city of Kona, and not far from beautiful beaches and day excursions to other parts of the island. All of the other tenants are friendly, there is a clean and quiet pool at the complex, and there is a gorgeous view of the sunset every night. The golf course maintenance crew can cause a stir early in the morning, but we had no problem with that since we were on Arizona time and woke up with the sunlight anyway! The condo owners are very friendly and easy to get a hold of for any questions or concerns. They send an extensive list of directions and recommendations before your stay, which was very helpful since this was our first visit to the big island. Highly recommended if you want a relaxing stay in Hawaii!

  Aloha John and Sharon, My husband and I went to Mona Kea on the top of a 14,000 feet volcano and saw a sunset that would only be seen on TV with five observatories. They told us that the Keck Observatory was ran by computers all over the world. We enjoyed the snorkeling at the Out Rigger which is some sanctuary for the Green Turtle and many colorful fish. This is a safe place for all and a rental stand. The condo had a nice library. The condo felt so homey with an open lanai on the 9th hole. My husband and I would sit out there and have breakfast every morning because it was warm. The birds of about seven kinds were so friendly to us so we took there photos. We had fun with the birds there. The condo had a nice lay out with everything you could think of and I found myself curling up in the chair at night writing or reading. The grounds on the property were clean and well groomed with gardens and a gecko or two. The plant life varied from bananas to bamboo. The description of the condo was correct and the directions correct about a mile or two from the last stop light. I felt at home and would go back next year. The price was right and it was a slice of heaven...... Enjoy the Big Island warm and friendly. Also, John and Sharon were nice to visit with on the phone or internet. Mahalo

  The first thing we noticed about this condo is how clean and neat it was, a great first impression! My wife, daughter and I spent a week here and we found it to be very comfortable. The unit had everything we needed for our stay and our expectations were not only met, but exceeded. The location is outstanding, especially if you want to golf, (the 9th hole is just out the back door!). Everyday essentials are found at the nearby grocery stores and shops and we found great little beaches for sunning, snorkeling and paddle boarding nearby. Downtown Kona is a short drive and offers all the restaurants and night life. We walked to the Sheraton, (just a few blocks) and watched the mantas feed in the evenings, it's free and very cool! If you want a very nice, clean, updated condo in a great location, this is the best place on the big island!

  This was our third time in Kona, but our first renting a privatley owned condo. It was great! This unit has everything you need, a great location, a great view, a very cozy lanai complete with BBQ which was awesome. The cost is the best bang for your buck. We stayed in resorts our first two trips to the big island and paid twice as much. This is the only way to go and this condo is exactly as advertised. We will definitely stay here again our next time we go to Kona. Thanks to the owners we had a great stay.

  The condo was perfect for our needs. Enjoyed the lush vegetation and the beautiful evenings on the lanai. The condo is close proximity to stores and restaurants. The condo was very clean and had all the amenities including beach towels, chairs, boogie board and unbrellas. We enjoyed eating at Sam Choys because of the beautiful view and the great food. Huggos On the Rocks was great for Happy Hour cocktails. We will be coming back....Great time

  Many thanks for allowin us to stay at your charming condo at Keauhou Akahi! It was the perfect location, perfect size, perfect everything! We made friends with the tiniest gecko residing in the ginger plant outside your walkway. The levered windows allow the breeze - and the sound of the rain - lull us to sleep. We used your beach supplies (mahalo!) and added a few umbrellas for future guests' use. We will be back ! Amy and Craig from Laguna Hills, CA
