We love our fireplace! We also enjoy having a glass of wine in front of the big picture window which faces the slopes and the lake. One of the best kept secrets at snowshoe is the off season. Spring offers the most beautiful scenery. Summer offers lots of outdoor festivals such as the blues and brews plus fantastic mountain biking. The fall has spectacular views of the changing season with the convenience of being able to walk into all the shops and restaurants without a crowd and the sales are phenomenal!

We had a wonderful time! Great communication and check in was super easy. Room was as described and perfect for my family of 3. Great location and we loved the bar set up! The room was everything we wished for! Great location, great view, comfortable and clean. Super easy access to the slopes/village/shuttle. The unit is well maintained and perfect for 2 guests. Check-in was a breeze, and the owner was accomadating throughout the process.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We could not have asked for a better location. Great view of the slopes. Locker for gear/doorway to the slopes at the end of the hall on one side, the other an exit to the main village activity. The room, in particular the bed and pillows were very comfortable (memory foam). Decor is nice, up to date and modern. This size unit suited us well as a couple. Kitchen has a 2 burner stove (not much counter space for major cooking, but was perfect for what we intended--just oatmeal in the morning...) and is equipt for light cooking. The owner (Leslie) was great to work with. We would stay here again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The room was exactly as titled. The room and view was awesome and honestly made our vacation. We will definetly look at staying here again. The room was right on the slopes and a true ski in and out room. The tenants were great as well. The location is ideal because you are in the center of the mountain. Starbucks, Restaurants, and shops are within walking distance. We had a great time at this beautiful condo! It is a great location- could not be easier to access the slopes -they are right out the door at the end of the hall. Great place to stay! The location was perfect for ski in and out as well as eating and shopping in the village. The property was well equipped with everything we needed and nicely decorated. Had a wonderful stay. Checking in was a bit slow but then the lady at check in explained that she just had to look it up on a different screen since i didnt book directly through them. Room was nice and clean and very self sufficient. It would have been nice to have daily housekeeping witgh new sheets and towels daily but overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitly return.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Slopeside condo made for a convenient trip. Lockers right down the hallway were so convenient for our wet gear and easy to get out on the slopes quick. We also had fun watching everyone including the snowmobile tours pass by right out our window. We took advantage of the kitchenette and had a great time. Close proximity to the Village also very convenient. Condo was clean, comfy, and very nicely furnished.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: My husband and I live in North Carolina along with my husbands sister and her husband who live in Georgia. His sister had gone to Snowshoe some years ago, and had falling in love with it. Recently we took a trip up there, and like them, we fell in love with it too. Being skiers and snowboarders, we decided to purchase a condo in the most beautiful ski resort on the east coast.
Why the Owner Chose Snowshoe:
After looking at many condos in Snowshoe, we decided Expedition Station had the most to offer. Location being most important, and long with custom cabinetry, fireplace, built in cocktail bar and upgraded designer furnishings we think we have the nicest studio in Expedition Station.
