A cozy, well-appointed home in the historic, old town of Crested Butte. Two bedrooms with a loft and a pull-out sofa in the living room for flexible sleeping arrangements. We have a bike rack for secure bike storage, off-street parking, and indoor ski storage. Free bus shuttle to the ski area runs every 15 minutes, and stops 1/2 block from our house. We're also one block off Elk Ave (main street), with most all restaurants within 5 blocks, no need for a rental car, just take the shuttle from the airport. We're also just 2 blocks from the grocery/liquor/video/health food stores.
This home features one queen bed, one double bed, two twin beds in the loft, and a pull-out sleep sofa in the living room. We are very child/infant friendly with a portable crib, highchair, books,sleds and toys.

We stayed at Redwing House in September. We have a lovely stay. The place is perfectly situated in town. It is cute and cozy with everything you'd need. Really feels like a home away from home. We'll definitely stay here again. The owner is very nice and helpful as well.

The Red Wing House has been our home away from home in Crested Butte, Colorado for the last three years. We have had wonderful summer vacations in this warm and inviting house. Many evenings my nine year old daughter and I would take a stroll through town after sunset to enjoy a hot chocolate or another treat at one of the many coffee shops in town. We then would take a walk down Elk Avenue, sit on a bench and gaze at stars as they danced over Mt. Crested Butte. In the morning all you have to do is step out your front door to have an amazing view of the sun rising over Mt. Crested Butte. The sunset also does not fail to amaze you as the last vestige of sunlight falls upon Mt. Crested Butte. The house itself is well appointed with everything a family would require; new appliances, a clean, cozy environment and a home with character. There is an assortment of wonderful restaurants that will suit a variety of budgets and pallets. The house is located one block off the main street of Crested Butte. This corner property is located in the heart of the town but still provides one with a peaceful environment. The house is located just up the street from the library. The location allows my daughter the freedom to visit the library everyday. The town bus stop is just one block away in either direction. The town supermarket and movie theatre are just three short blocks away. The bus to and from Gunnison is only one block away. Parking is available in the front or back of the home. I highly recommend this gem of a home to anyone whom is visiting the lovely town of Crested Butte.

We've rented this house several times, this past rental was for a whole month! It is great for a family - is kid and pet friendly and the location is ideal. Close to shopping & restaurants but in a quite neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this charm of a place. It's clean and well maintained and the owner is extremely helpful. It was everything the VRBO listing stated it would be and more! We will be back next year!
