Great ski house!!

We rented this house for our 3rd annual family ski weekend. We had 4 families which were comprised of 8 adults and 10 kids ranging in ages from 8 to 16. It is a true ski in/out home so we could all meet back at the house for lunch. The home was clean and well maintained. The owner was very accessible in case we had any problems. The hot tub and sauna were a great benefit and clean. We would highly recommend this home to anyone planning a ski trip with a large group!! It could not have been any better.

Owner response:Hello, this is Phil, the homeowner of the 5,500 s. f. ski on/ski off Snowbridge Home on Okemo Mountain. What can I say to someone that rents my multimillion dollar slopeside ski home, gets a discounted rate, enjoys a 30" snowfall during her stay, and then enters a comment of "not happy at all"??? In the thirteen years of renting high quality properties in Vermont, this is the first and only such comment I have received regarding any of my homes. I take much pride in providing high end, well-maintained luxury accommodations to appreciative guests. This comment from Bonnie came as to a great surprise to me. Maybe the 2 and 1/2 feet of snow was too much and put her in an uneasy frame of mind. There was an issue with the refrigerator, however, that was resolved very quickly. The renter had communicated to me that the refrigerator was running warm. I had my tech respond the very next day and diagnosed the problem as "low on refrigerant". He refilled the refrigerant gas and the refrigerator was as cold as normal in a matter of a couple of hours. During one of my follow-up phone calls to the home, another member of her group had expressed that, other than the issue with the refrigerator (that was fixed promptly) and a few crumbs at the bottom of the trash cabinet (of all places), that the group was enjoying their stay. Perhaps the old adage: "There are some people that can never be made happy." has some merit. As noted earlier, I take great pride in providing exceptionally high quality vacation homes and condos to rental guests. We use all of our homes very freequently to ensure that they meet the highest of expectations and that our accommodations are very well equipped. Very many of our rental guests return for repeat stays annually...many stay in our accommodation several times each season!

We had such a great time staying in the Snowbridge Home! This was our third time renting from Phil, and every time we have been fully satisfied. From the second we walked in we were blown away by the gorgeous interior and breathtaking views of Okemo Mountain. The Home was sparkling clean and inviting, with everything you could ask for fully equipped, even to supply the 20+ guests staying at the home with dishes, etc. The hot tub and sauna were great after a long day on the slopes, and with so much to do in the house, no one was ever bored! It was such a luxury to be able to ski right out of the house onto the slopes! We have such memorable times, and can't wait to go back! This is by far one of the most breath-taking homes on Okemo Mountain!

Snowbridge Home Experience

We rented properties from Phil three years in a row, twice at Snowbridge and once at the West Village Home. Snowbridge is an amazing property and suited our group of 20-25 really well. This modern home is very spacious and comfortable, and extremely well maintained. The ski on ski off is so convenient, and enabled us to enjoy the home throughout the day, and have home cooked lunches as well. The kitchen has everything you need, and the dining room has a gigantic table that can seat over 20 people. We also loved the indoor jacuzzi and sauna, which was a great way to wrap up the day. Overall, this home is a dream for large families or groups, and you won't be dissappointed with your stay.

Snowbridge is Spectacular!

I have had the privilege of renting Snowbridge a number of times as a retreat home for our parishioners. We always found the home to be the perfect place for our needs: immaculately clean, very comfortable and loaded with amenities that helped us offer a wonderful time for all. Ths kitchen and dining area is welcoming and super-practical. The bedrooms and bathrooms, perfect for the number of people we had with us. The hot tub was inviting after a day of retreat and the views from the porch were breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. I happily share this well-kept secret so that others may use Snowbridge. We look forward to coming back again!

"The Andersen family had a very comfortable gathering at your beautiful home. The weather was cool and the views of morning fog in the valley was spectacular. We had fun in Ludlow and at the Plymouth State Park, in Chester and at the Crowley Cheese Factory. For one house to accommodate 18 people from 83 to 2 months is fantastic. "Our family and friends came together for Ron's 40th birthday. We 'kidnapped'him at 6 am from NYC and headed for this great spot. When we arrived, and saw the home, I knew we were going to have a blast. We filled the house with the closest to us and feasted every day. WOW, what a great view. Thank you for allowing our family get together for such a memorable family event. The whole family got to stay in ONE place. Coming from Norht Carolina, Illinois, Massachusetts...16 of us got to enjoy a wonderful long weekend of hiking up Okmeo Mountain to see the beautiful fall foliage. A 50th wedding anniversary is a wonderful way to have an excuse for a family gathering. Many nights were spent in front of the fire, and watching baseball and football games. Hi Phil, thanks so much...your home has been fantastic! This is our last night in this beautiful place! Summers in Vermont are pure joy to me and this house made it possible for family members who have never been to New England to join us in style! We loved sitting on the porch and looking at the mountains; our trips to swim at Buttermilk Falls and Echo Lake; and family dinners around this huge table. A fabulous vacation in a fabulous home! In fact, the consensus among the family is that this is the best place we have stayed yet on any of these vacations....I will be sure to act as quickly as possible so we can get this house again.
