New Braunfels farmhouse description
One of a kind property ideal for large families or groups. Unequaled for entertaining. Located within walking/biking distance of historic downtown New Braunfels' cafes, wine bars, museums, antique shops, bakeries, theaters, galleries, farmers' market, rivers, springs, parks, fairgrounds, library, and waterparks. Located within a 15 minute drive of Canyon Lake (sailing/boating) and the San Marcos Outlets (shopping).
The property consists of two separate structures - an 1895 Victorian 'Sunday House' (2,716 SQFT with 3 BR, 2 BA, sleeping 4 adults and 3 children comfortably) and an 1895 restored and converted barn (2,005 SQFT with 1 BR and 1 BA, sleeping 1 adult comfortably). Both structures are fully furnished. Both have central heat and air. Two separate dining areas (one in each structure). Large fireplace in converted barn. Wireless internet and cable TV throughout. Large screen TV (Sunday House). Two libraries (one in each structure). Full kitchen (Sunday House). Washer and dryer (Sunday House). BBQ smoker. In ground fire hearth. Full organic garden. Pecan grove. Wrap around porch (Sunday House). Covered stone patio (converted barn). Driveway parking for 3 vehicles/RV/boat. Please note that the Sunday House and the Barn are not rented separately. Please also note that the MAXIMUM group size is 8 people, the property is not available for events (sorry), and most pets are not permitted (but check with me before making any conclusion).
Excellent upscale, low key home base for enjoying New Braunfels' many annual events (Octoberfest, Wurstfest, Wassailfest, Wein & Saengerfest, Weihnachtsmarkt, Schlitterbahn, the Comal County Fair, etc.) or exploring the Texas Hill Country's lakes, rivers, springs, vineyards, ranches, historic towns, and outlets.
