I was a little nervous about renting but with the advice of a few friends, I bit the bullet and was so glad I did. Beautiful property, great location; property as described. My husband and son both stated they now prefer a rental home to a hotel.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with young children.

We had a very enjoyable time at this home in February. The home is very roomy and located on the right side of Orlando to visit many of the attractions that appeal to families. There is also reasonably priced golf within short distances. The home is very comfortable for families and well laid out. The view from the backyard is very nice, particularly for sunsets. We also saw a number of hot air balloons in the morning that launch from a site over a ridge in the west. Our experience is different from others in that we did not have children but had our dogs and we wanted to connect with my son who was coming in from AZ so that we could have some "annual" fun together. This rental was so much more than expected and more than the pictures displayed. Very spacious, packed with amenities, and the layout was perfect for having "your own space." The owners of this rental really care about their tenants. The kitchen was fully packed with everything you need and the towels and linens were very fresh and clean. The cleaning staff had done a wonderful job for our arrival. We definitely recommend this house as it and the owners' previous communications make you comfortable from the moment you arrive. If you have sampled "Disney World" before, I would recommend going to Wonder Works. For dining, just down the street is a great Japanese restaurant called Sake that has great sushi and sake rolls. When you come home for the evening, the owner has provided a Wii system, great books, games and DVDs for the kids and televisions for everyone in your group. I would definitely rent this again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our family decided to do Christmas in Orlando this year. The house we rented turned out to be very nice. The location was nice for Disney World and for local grocery story,drug story and restaurants. The owner was always quick to answer any e-mails I had . We had my daughters dogs with us , the owner even had an extra dog bed if we needed . I also noticed extra little things to help parents with little ones, such as high chair ,strollers and even a cute little bath towel with a hoodie for a baby. The property was very clean which I am very pickey about. I would definitely recommend this house for people with children as two of the bedrooms are decorated so cute for children. Wonderful stay, everything 100 percent prepared, clean, well maintained home. Peaceful community, great for pets as well. My family of four stayed over Thanksgiving week, everything was as expected. Description and photos provided were accurate. Property was clean, well maintained, and everything was in working condition. Pool heat was great, as we were able to enjoy a relaxing swim, even on nights that got down into the low 50s. Kevin was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had during our stay. I'd recommend this property to a friend or relative, especially families with children. The floor plan allows for kids to have their own space and the adults comfortably in their own area. Floor plan also allows for different sleep schedules. Spaced well so that family members can stay up late playing or watching movies without noise keeping anyone else up. Great neighborhood, we took walks with the dog most evenings. Family went to Disney, Legoland which were both convienent drives. Stone Creek Pizza is nearby and very good. Posner Park shopping center is nearby with a nice Italian place, chinese grill, and a sushi place. I'll also shamelessly promote the Target in the same shopping center, which has fresh groceries and a Starbucks! Ultimately, great experience in a peaceful neighborhood that is just the right distance from the attractions to keep the drives short but the price right.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children.

About the owner: We are a family of 4 + 2 (doxies) from Montana. Kevin is a self-employed web and application developer, Michelle is a homemaker, and our girls are both home schooled, in the 8th and 9th grades. Peanut and Penelope are our doxies, both winning racers and all around fun pups.
Why the Owner Chose Tuscan Ridge:
We love Florida and have visited often to escape the long Montana Winters. Owning a vacation home is the best of both worlds for us since we can use it ourselves and also allow others to enjoy it. We also love Disney, and have been to Disney World and Disneyland many times over the years, so this gives us a chance to go more often.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We loved this home from the moment we saw it. It's a wonderfully large size, and the rear of the house feels very secluded. With an open view from the back, and non-pool homes on both sides, you feel like you have the whole neighborhood to yourself.
The home has a second living room and dining room, which we use as a game room and additional entertainment center.
The large master bedroom and bath provide a luxurious respite after a long day of playing.
The quiet of the home is unmistakeable, from taking a nice walk with the dogs to waking up in relative silence, the peace of the home and it's surroundings sets the stage for a wonderfully relaxing day!
