Aloha! Welcome to the beautiful and world-famous Ka'anapali Beach! And to the Whaler! The Ka'anapali Beach is a destination featured on the Travel Channel, and rated as one of the best beaches in the USA. The Whaler is a popular luxurious ocean front resort in the heart of the Ka'anapali Beach.

Ideally located on the seventh floor of the gated Whaler Tower II, and professionally managed by the Whaler Realty Management Company, this unit is a cozy and cheerful studio condominium, with spectacular views of the ocean, the Black Rock, and the rolling hills. As you enter the condominium, you will be greeted by these views, as reflected by mirrored walls. Of course, the views get more spectacular as you approach the spacious Lanai, which also overlooks a courtyard and the pool.

Our condominium is equipped with a California King-sized bed, and modern rattan type of furniture, including a Queen-sized sofa sleeper. Amenities include a full supply of linens and towels, a fully-equipped kitchen and appliances, and all utensils. Washer and dryer are available on the same floor of the building. The Whaler provides additional amenities including pool and spa, a fitness center, tennis courts, and barbecue areas, to make your stay enjoyable.

The unit is literally steps away from the rock-free beach and the ocean, shopping at the Whaler Village, and great dining. A paved pathway stretching the entire length of Ka'anapali Beach will take you to the Black Rock, a string of great resorts along the coast, and live entertainment.

The Black Rock is believed by ancient Hawaiians to be the site from which their spirits "jumped off" or left this world to join their ancestors. The Black Rock area is highly popular for snorkeling and scuba diving, especially among locals, as the rock forms a great reef wall.

Play great golf at the Royal Ka'anapali golf course adjacent to the Whaler, or at any one of the three championship courses in Kapalua, The Bay, The Village, and The Plantation, just minutes away by car. The Plantation golf course is home to the Mercedes Championship every January.

Please note that toward maintaining the Whaler as a world class resort property, it is currently getting a major facelift. The pool and the adjacent lounge area have been remodeled and are now open for use by our guests. The courtyard is currently undergoing renovation. All major construction activities are expected to be completed by the summer of 2009.

It is the intent of the Whaler management to minimize disturbance to our guests due to construction activities. Nonetheless, in consideration of the potential inconvenience, the rates offered below represent special discounts until further notice.

    • We stayed in this condo in March of 2006. It was very comfortable. This is an excellent location on Kaanapali Beach, with lots of stuff within walking distance. The view is spectacular from the lanai. It's a great vantage point to watch the whales. Photographs will never do it justice. Paul, the owner, was great to work with.     • We stayed in this condo in early August and we had a spectacular time! The views are BETTER than those in the pictures on this site. On one side, you see the mountains, with a rainbow every afternoon around 4:30-5pm. On the other side, a gorgeous view of Black Rock and the beach. One of the reasons we chose this condo was that the furniture looked comfortable--better than just a futon like in some of the other rooms. It didn't dissapoint! Also, there is a big closet that was great for putting our suitcases and settling in. We would really recommend staying here. It was great to be able to choose between the pool and the beach, walk to snorkeling and restaurants, and be able to relax with cocktails on the lanai in the afternoon. Aloha and Mahalo!
