Puamana condo description
A DAY IN THE LIFE AT PRINCEVILLE
Start your morning with a barefoot stroll along the surf at Anini Beach, just a short walk from your townhouse, and feel the warm white sand between your toes. In the Spring you might see a Humpback Whale or two breaching offshore, and you’ll see Hawaiian Sea Turtles most anytime of the year. Finish your walk with a dip in the warm waters of the Pacific or swim in the pool at Puamana.
Enjoy breakfast while gazing at the ocean from your lanai. The menu includes fresh apple bananas, papaya, and mangos from the Farmer’s Market.
The day presents a palette of activities. Rent a kayak and paddle up the river. Or rent a paddleboard and cruise around Hanalei Bay. Snorkel with the turtles and monk seals off Haena Beach. Learn to surf. Go browsing among the unique shops in Hanalei. Go horseback riding or ziplining. Hit the Farmer’s Market for fresh organic fruits and vegetables. Hike down to Queen’s Bath. Or, if you’re really up for an experience, drive past Hanalei to the end of the road and hike on the Kalalau Trail along the spectacular Napali Coast. Play one of Princeville’s world class golf courses. Or what the heck, just kick back on the beach all day.
It is 6:00 PM and time for watching the sun set behind Bali Hai which is conveniently viewed from your lanai. The sky turns the color of a Mai Tai as you relax in the warmth of the tropical evening. Decisions, Decisions. Will it be a quiet night sitting on the cliffs listening to the crashing surf or dinner at one of Princeville’s fabulous restaurants? Whatever the choice you can be sure the night will end with the sounds of the tropical night lulling you to sleep. Life is good.
Oh, and a few words about your island home: Puamana 12B is a highly desirable townhouse on the golf course with ocean views and lots of air and light filling your living area. You even have a peak at Bali Hai through an old Banyan tree. The golf course location means no foot traffic past your living area and you don’t have to look at any other units---just the green golf course and the ocean, making it quite private and peaceful.

He is so quick to respond via email, the keyless entry when you arrive (with a code that he provides upon payment) is so convenient & easy, & the condo is just perfect :) It's fully stocked with everything that you need! All you have to do is grocery shop :) Oh & the beds are super comfortable! We will DEFINITELY book again in the future! I am positive that you won't find a better deal than this :) Such a beautiful, well kept property, perfect location, & you can't beat that price!

Roy has done an incredible job in making sure that this condo is well maintained and has everything you need. We enjoyed our stay here tremendously, and my kids especially loved the boogie boards provided for all our days at the beach. Everything you need is provided including laundry soap and plenty of extra paper products and trash bags, which as a mom I truly appreciated not having to worry about. The onsite manager was very sweet and the place in a great location and super quiet. Thank You Roy

Our stay at Puamana was a perfect visit for our family. After much research we decided on Puamana and have no regrets. The owner, Roy, communicated well throughout the entire process and was very accommodating. This was our first time to Kauai. With a toddler, we were looking for something convenient, relaxing, economical, and central to the north shore. Though resort communities such as Princeville typically are not an ideal choice for somewhat more adventurous travelers such as ourselves, we loved it all the same. We arrived with it very clean. The condo is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Wylie beach is a 10-15 minute walk away and there are a number of good beaches to hike down to off the steep bluff in the Princeville area within a mile or two. We are not golfers but being on the golf course was very nice. It offered a little extra privacy and it was enjoyable to walk the pathway 5 minutes to the bluff during sunset and sunrise. We had our deposit refund in the mail within a week of our departure which made for a final last positive impression. We highly recommend this unit. Thanks Roy!

We enjoyed our stay here immensely. The condo is so comfortable with great beds and great bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed. The two bedrooms were wonderful for the three of us. We enjoyed evening walks on the golf course and the walk down to the beach was no trouble at all. It was about a ten minute shaded walk down to the very private and calm beach. We had everything we could have asked for and then some (extra sun block in the drawers, beach towels, and snorkeling gear in the closet.) What a great value! Perfect location on the jungly north shore. The drive into Hanalei was very quick and convenient. We enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood and proximity to amazing beaches and hikes. So glad we decided to stay here instead of a hotel. Roy was wonderful to communicate with and made everything easy and comfortable. One week wasn't enough!

Beautiful Unit With Nice Upgrades
Beautiful Unit With Nice Upgrades
Roy made the booking process for his rental smooth and easy. We appreciated his quick communication every step of the way. We really enjoyed staying in this condo. It was so quiet and the bed was so comfortable. We slept very well there. The condo is exactly as described and the photos are a good representation of what you can expect. He provides guests with everything needed for an outstanding stay right down to the beach mats in the closet. The kitchen was very well equipped with quality dish-wear , pots and pans and utensils. The showers in the bathrooms are great with good water pressure and a shampoo and soap dispenser are included so no need to bring those items with you. He also provides beach towels, and a cooler for guests to use in the closet which really comes in handy when you want to pack a lunch and keep your drinks cold for the day when you go to the beach. I can not think of anything else we would have needed. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice place!
Very nice place!
Updated and comfortable, everything we needed was there. Quiet atmosphere, nicely decorated. he only problem we encou tered was the cable tv, which sometimes did not want to work, but there were instructions in the homeowners book, and we had to call for a re-hit twice. closeto anything you could need, two great beaches nearby, and one within walking distance. Pleasant, and would come back if possible.

Beautifully, all new, decorated spacious villa. We have rented privately-owned villas/condos several times in Hawaii and found this villa to be not only the best priced, but one of the best furnished and equipped rentals. Roy has done an outstanding job remodeling and redecorating this villa. We have had issues with the noise, mowers etc., when renting on golf courses but found this unit to be very quiet even during daylight hours. The double view at sunset, as we walked beyond the patio, of the mountains above Hanalei to the west and the ocean to the north was spectacular. Only problem we experienced was the unit had not been cleaned apon our arrival--mix up with the cleaner's schedule. Roy was most apologetic and gracious in treating us to a wonderful dinner at the nearby Westin Resort's top-rated Nanea Restaurant (if you want fine dining at reasonable prices this is a great choice). Since the unit had extra sheets and towels, it was not a big deal to quickly make the beds and shower after our all-night flight from Sydney. The following morning while we were out exploring, the cleaner got the villa in great shape. Our favorite activity was kayaking on Hanalei River and Bay, just a few miles down the highway. Kayak Kauai in Hanalei provided great service and equipment. Next time I definitely will bring my clubs (didn't want to haul them around Australia before we arrived in Kauai) and play the adjacent beautiful Prince and Makai courses. From what I saw neither were over crowded. We highly recommend this villa for one to two couples or family with one to two children, and I would definitely rent again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was spacious, quiet, and well-equipped. Nice to have parking close by and we especially appreciated having chairs available to take to the beach. This was our first trip to Kauai and we most definitely return to the North Coast. Thank You!

A Perfect Getaway
A Perfect Getaway
Whether you are looking for adventure, serene surroundings or just want to kick back and enjoy the natural envirnment taking in local restaurants and shops, this is a perfect place. The rooms are clean and spacious. The setting is breathtaking. The owner is easy to deal with. The arrangements were easy to make and everything came off smoothly. This is certainly an antidote to the hustle and bustle of the big city. The best part was falling asleep to the sound of the nearby surf and feeling the coolness of the ocean breeze. I would highly recommend it.

About: I first came to Hawaii in 1973 and fell immediately in love. I started a business on Oahu and later lived on Maui for 8 years. I retired 17 years ago and began traveling. I am now a full time world traveler but always return to the islands when I circle around to this part of the globe. This photo, taken in Alberobello, Italy, is me with my 3 loves--my 2 beautiful daughters and my '76 Westfalia Bus.
I have traveled the world and been on hundreds of islands, and there is no tropical island more beautiful than Kauai's North Shore. Hanalei is a timeless and authentic Hawaiian town and Hanalei Bay is a true Polynesian setting with a perfect beach and a gentle sea surrounded by verdant mountains. Staying in Princeville gives you best of both worlds. You are a few minutes from Hanalei yet high on a ridge overlooking the ocean with cooling breezes and great sunsets in the comfort of a secure development. There is a full service supermarket within a short walk as well as numerous restaurants and shops. I don't even bother renting a car when I'm here. There is a bus stop just a short walk away which will get you most places on the island. And, it isn't bad living so close to the beach.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I looked at dozens of condos in Princeville and 12B attracted me immediately. The townhouse still had all the original kitchen and bath cabinets and fixtures so I knew it would require a major remodeling project, but the quiet and private setting on the golf course coupled with a beautiful ocean view sealed the deal for me. It was so bright and airy where others seemed cramped and dark. A $90,000 remodel was completed in December 2012.
