This stunning home is the perfect place to relax and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in California. The house is on the beach, with a private staircase to the sand. It has both a spacious beachside patio, and a private courtyard for relaxing.
The main house has two bedrooms, two baths, and a huge open living space with a fireplace, a wall of windows, and unstoppable ocean views.
The cottage has a separate entrance off the private courtyard. This cozy house includes a living room, two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Both houses have been recently remodeled.
Cayucos is a the last truly California beach town. Both sleepy and funky, it is the perfect place to relax and play. There are miles of wide sandy beaches, country roads for bike riding, many surf breaks, and a eclectic downtown with great restaurants, shopping, and wine tasting.
Located at the heart of the Central Coast, Cayucos sits directly between San Francisco and Los Angeles, making it an excellent spot for exploring the central coast. San Luis Obispo, the world famous Highway 1, and Hearst Castle are all close by.
Play all day, eat out under the stars, and wake up to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. You will never want to leave.

This home was one of the best rentals my husband and I have stayed at. Lovely and clean with lots of room. The view could not have been better. We are already dreaming of returning to Cayucos and wouldn't even consider looking elsewhere. Just returned from a fabulous family vacation thanks to Judy's house and area recommendations. The house is spacious, with picture windows across the whole front of the house looking up and down the coast (pics are accurate). The kitchen (and house) are superbly well stocked - we wanted for nothing during our 4 days there. I love this part of the beach too - really wide open with a nice walk to either Morro Rock or the pier. Thank you Judy for the wonderful stay!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a great house in a great location. You walk out the door and a long, quiet beach is right in front of you. Even inside, you can enjoy the beautiful ocean with the huge windows in the living room and kitchen. Cooking is a joy as you look out onto the view. The house is perfect for 2 families, families with teenagers or multiple couples. We had 2 adult couples in the main house and 4 teenagers in the "cottage" and it was very comfortable -- and nice to let the teenagers stay up late without bothering the grownups.The house is very well-equipped, you don't need to bring anything. Cayucos is a cute little town, easy to walk to from the house. If you need more adventure, San Luis Obispo is not a long drive away. If you are looking for a quiet beach getaway, I highly recommend this house.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

I have stayed at this house several times and it keeps getting better. Once you've been here you'll be hooked by the beauty of this beach house. It's difficult to leave when there's a view like this. This is an ideal house for families. The quaint little beach community of Cayucos hasn't changed much over the last fifty years which is its appeal. There's plenty to do if you feel the need. Morro Bay is just a few miles south of here with boutiques and golfing.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We bought our house over 10 years ago. We love this part of California, and truly appreciate our piece of Cayucos. There is something here for every member of the family, including fishing, surfing, paddling, sightseeing, cycling, and sunbathing.

Our dream was to own a home on the beach. When this house became available, we jumped at it. We have remodeled extensively over the last 10 years, and the house is beautiful.
