What a view! An extra wide canal bordered by a wetland area and a large spring. The locals call this canal Hudson River. As the weather cools, manatees come to enjoy this spring. Come see for yourself. The property has two 20 ft. docks, one is stationary, and the other is a floating dock which is perfect if you bring your boat. There is direct access to Gulf with only a 5 minute boat ride.
This 2 bedroom 1 bath home has been remodeled to take advantage of the view. The entire wall that faces the water is a bank of large windows. There is ceramic tile throughout for easy care, and an updated bathroom. This property sleeps 6. The master has a king size bed, and the second bedroom has twin beds. The sofa converts to a double bed. For your enjoyment there is a new flat screen TV with cable, Wi-Fi, and a gas grill on the screened patio. The dining area features a fireplace that is for decoration only. Check out the view from the “upper deck” of the home. Please enjoy smoking in the outside areas only.
Within walking distance are the restaurants Hurricane Hanks, and Get Hooked, and with a short 5 minute drive are many more. Enjoy walking on Hudson Beach, then stop in at Sam’s Hudson Beach Bar and Restaurant to enjoy the sunset and dinner. There is an abundance of public golf courses close by, many parks and recreation areas, as well as plenty of shopping opportunities.

Property was clean and relaxing- owners were wonderful. The house had all that we needed. The stationary dock and floating dock were really great .Canal was awesome- we had a momma and baby manatee in the canal all day the first day we were there. Saw manatees several other times in the canal.Saw mantees, dolphins, stingrays and numerous fish in the gulf as well as all the birds. We loved our stay, we didn't want to leave. We will be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Why the Owner Chose Hudson:
We wanted to purchase a property on the water but did not like the feel of most of the canals in the general area. When this property with the open view of the water and wetland area came available, we jumped on it.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Within less than 2 miles is a beach and many restaurants. Some restaurants are even within walking distance. It is not unusual to see manatees and dolphins in the canal and you'll enjoy the variety of birds visiting the dock as well.
